Listen every day! Love the dialogue and conversation with mother & son. The Stories are well researched and love Sarah’s narratation. Toby’s accent is quite adorable and I thoroughly enjoy their post podcast opinions and laughs. I’ve recommended to everyone I can think of who enjoys anything scary! It’s like listening to a schizophrenic person babbling for hours and the story is so annoying and like it’s just boring not gonna lie and literally hate the voices. It’s just so. ew 🤢🤢🤮🤮

A wide variety of paranormal stories and background info on lots of other worldly topics. All read beautifully by a thoroughly relatable host. I look forward to it!

Creepy stories, great narration

The Whispering Woods podcast has quickly become my go-to podcast for my spooky story fixes. Their story choices are wonderful. Sara and Tobie include interesting legends from all over the world, and they set the mood with their concise subject introductions. Sara's narration has a wonderful rhythm, and her short banter sessions with her son, Tobie, make the two of them very relatable and seem like friends who should live next door. I very much appreciate that they do not include explicit content or gore; a truly creepy story doesn't need it, and imagination is always the best anyhow. Love, love, love what you two are doing - keep up the great work!

This is a fun podcast and the narrators seem well informed. The stories are well told and the narrators do a great job with it!

They are very long. Wasn’t that interesting and almost fell asleep. Not the least scary.

I recently discovered this wonderful podcast. I adore the mother and son aspect and Sarah cadence is perfect. She narrates the stories wonderfully. I always appreciate her sweetness, honesty and how she always thanks and credits appropriately. I enjoy the conversation between her and Toby after the stories as they give their perspectives. Discoverd this podcast recently and really like it. I find the stories interesting and Sarah’s tone and pace to be perfect for the telling these kinds of stories. The mother-son aspect of the podcast gives it a warmth that is missing from many other podcasts. Give it listen.

Having loved all things scary my whole life, I am thoroughly enjoying joining Sarah and Toby on their adventures delving into the many horror genres. If scary can be charming and delightful, then these two have done it. Very enjoyable and quite spooky.

As a mother to 4 boys myself I quickly fell in love with this podcast! There’s nothing better then trying to freak out your “unshakable “ boys! Sarah’s voice is absolutely perfect for the spooky stories and the banter between her and Toby is genuine and fun! 5 stars all the way!

Just found you guys, I was searching for a Krampus podcast and yours came up. So excited it did am on my 3rd episode and absolutely loving it!!

Great show! Calm voices, spooky stories and no real banter - straight to the spooky.

I listened to episode one while outside on my morning walk - it was chilly out and the stories made it a bit chillier :-) Love the spooky stories, and especially love the dialogue between the storyteller and her 12-year-old son.
