    Fantastic stories well told
I really love this podcast! I came for the spooky stories, I’m staying for the history - building a tangible atmosphere. Rob’s narration and dedication are outstanding. I’m addicted.

I absolutely love your podcast. I live in the US, but lived in the UK for two wonderful years when I was in the US Army. Please continue to share your adventures. Thank you again.

(No more) Obnoxious sound effects (updated)
I really enjoy this podcast. It is well thought out and researched, but the sound effects that are twice as loud as the rest of it are so obnoxious! It just cheapens the overall experience. Update- thank you, Rob! I truly appreciate that you listen to the feedback of your fans! The podcast just keeps getting better! Keep up the good work!

    Great
Rob this is a great show the only reason why I do not give you 5 stars is because you really need to work on mastering a little more. The sound effects you use are so much louder than the rest of your podcast that it hurts my ears. Please go back or have someone go back and lower the volume on them a little more cause they are ear piercing

    So great!
This is one of my favorite podcasts! I love the history behind all of the places as well as the spooky stories! You can tell a lot of work goes into the podcast and I hope one day to visit the places talked about!

    So many ghosts
I love all the terrifying history and the spooky stories.. Honestly the gruesome history of some of the locations is more terrifying than the ghosts that haunt them… and I love to learn about it! Thank you Rob for taking the time to research all of these locations and put together shows once a week… I always know what I’m listening to on my drive to work Friday morning.

    5 Pentagrams for How Haunted!
As a American who is a bit of an Anglophile, I am loving the How Haunted podcast! I enjoy hearing about all these haunted places in the UK (and beyond) and appreciate the history, guests, and dash of skepticism Rob brings to the show.

I really like this Podcast! Rob gets right to the history of the haunted place and you can tell he has done his research! Creepy music softly plays in the background with a few good sound effects thrown in, making it sound like a professional podcast!!! Rob’s voice is great for good ghost story telling, and his accent….. oh his accent….

    Pretty fun!
I’ve been looking for a spooky podcast covering both history and ghosts for this Halloween season. This one is great! The side effects are a bit much though, imo.

    Amazing show!
Legitimately, this is my new favorite podcast for haunted locations. I love the matter of fact way that Rob presents the information he’s gathered, as well as a healthy sense of reality in not assuming the paranormal when encountering oddities. The stories are believable, which is rare when it comes to haunted podcasts. He also shows actual photos of the locations, which really brings me to the place and puts me there. The sound effects are terrifying, and the music is phenomenal. But the best part of the show is the history and the accounts of the hauntings. I’ve gotten several friends to watch this now, they’re all fans, and personally chatted with Rob myself. The creator is extremely friendly and was completely willing and happy to chat with a random fan girl. If you’re looking for a podcast that isn’t completely outlandish with the spiritual and manages to bring a sense of reality and fact to something that cannot yet be proven, this is the podcast for you. It is also amazing for history buffs. Dark history is my favorite, and boy oh boy is this podcast full of it!

How Haunted? More like Wow Haunted!
A new creepy voice in the world of paranormal podcast, this one is not to be “ghosted”! Rob mixes in history with his own experiences which makes for very interesting and engaging stories. Don’t sleep on this one, fellow listeners-in fact, you may not sleep after hearing the tale of one of the most haunted locations in Edinburgh.
