I have been looking for a podcast like this for years! Funny. Relatable. And so informational. Thanks for giving such great information about this city! Yall the best.

Excellent coverage of local news, fun things, deep dives….just great content for anyone who lives in Portland! Claudia, John, Julie, many excellent guests create a casual and engaging atmosphere…like you’re sitting down with close friends! PLUS, they do really great journalism….the first time I heard Claudia interview one of our local politicians, I was VERY IMPRESSED by her preparation and tough but fair questions / push back….it was like seeing your friend do a backflip out of nowhere….WHAT you can do that too? :)

This show does a great job at balancing reporting of all aspects that make Portland such a great city. A perfect daily listen for any resident who wants to be in the know.

The Loop de Loop winery has an excellent view. I let it know that I learned about it through City Cast Portland.

Really like the show but majorly lacking coverage on the arts and artisans and importance of creative expression in this community. Everything they do cover they cover well, but I would love to see you regularly expand beyond food, bars and the outdoors when talking about Portland culture.

I have been listening to City Cast Portland podcast most everday for the last year. Claudia’s and John’s voices, and their laughs, are with me as I’m walking my dog, doing dishes, chillin’ outside, etc. This is the must-listen podcast for anyone in the Portland area. I recommend it to all my friends. All the VIP topics are covered, as well as things I’d never otherwise think about or know about going on locally. This podcast fosters the community, engages us, educates us and has fun concurrently and is a major asset to locals.

I’m kinda writing this review because Claudia and John gave more or less a command on a recent episode, but also because I am so grateful for the smart, curious, joyful work this team is doing. I listen for the stories about Portland but also for the camaraderie. Can we get a blooper reel, please?

I started listening to this pod to get caught up on local news but I’ve found it offers so much more! It’s fun and casual while still being really informative and well produced. Great interviews, fun ideas for what to do around the city, and more. Claudia is a super engaging host. Recommending to all my Portland friends.

Excellent range of topics, discussion that is both entertaining & informative, in a community that is currently suffering from a deficiency in legit sources of journalism. Well worth it.

I love this podcast and listen daily. It’s so informative about local, Portland political issues and cultural happenings. I have learned so much about how the measures I have voted in have affected our city and where improvements need to be made. It makes me a more informed citizen and voter. Bonus! I also learn about local bars, restaurants, tattoo shops and more that I can enjoy. Thank you for this wonderful addition to city living!

Excellent source of Portland news. The best podcasts teach you something new while making it feel like you’re having a conversation with friends at Slim’s. Claudia and John are great at this, as are the local journalists they have on regularly. Makes me proud to live in a community with people who care about our small town.

I listen to this podcast almost every day. As a new Portlander, Claudia and John (and their many guests) have helped me learn so much about my new city. I don’t always agree with Claudia’s takes but she is very fair and is an excellent interviewer.

Happy to have found this. Coincidently happen to be an avid Pickleball Player. Absolutely understand concern about noise. Different noises impact different people in different ways. We certainly need to be able find solutions that work toward the greater good with least amount negative impact.

I love listening to this Podcast as it’s a great way to get local information without the negativity of regular newscasts. The hosts and guests have great personalities and topics that are very relevant to the city. I also enjoy the event information the hosts provide in their podcast.

I love their conversational tone and the mix of topics that are important/serious to Portland and the state and ones that are just fun, leisure, and what’s going on. It feels local and loved.

This is the best news podcast in Portland! I know that sounds like faint praise (there aren't that many of them), but it's a very good show! Great mix of different kinds of news and analysis, with an excellent variety of hosts and co-hosts. This show seems genuinely curious and thoughtful about Portland issues, in a way that the other local podcasts I've heard haven't been. Highly recommended to all Portlanders!

Been a fan of this podcast from the start and I very much enjoy the fun, quick, and witty banter between Claudia and all her guests. This show has definitely deepened my knowledge of the city and appreciation for its history (good and bad) and all it has to offer.

Great podcast to become and remain integrated with everything PDX

We are in the process of relocating from the Midwest to Portland and this podcast has made me feel like I already know the city.

Claudia is a knockout host; she and the other lovely humans who join in on the conversation cover a range of Portland-centric topics with a warm humor and keen attention to detail that often feels like catching up with old friends. I appreciate that the producers try to see multiple sides of important issues. Work like this is what makes Portland a community that is truly connected. Love the insights on this podcast. They talk about the things I notice and care about and am curious about, living in Portland. Host is a dynamic interviewer and has a good sense of humor. The New Seasons episode was especially well-done.

I love this podcast—> as a newcomer to Portland I feel like it teaches me the cultural stuff you’d only know after living here for a decade. Charming hosts. Light and thought provoking. Love how it honors its city.

I was (am) so excited for a well-produced, solid local news podcast, but I’ve been somewhat underwhelmed so far. I would love to have much more than a “micro dose” of news, and much less of the arts/culture stuff. More bringing light to city hall and underfunded schools, less cliche quirky personalities. Less hipster entertainment/magazine show, more professional journalism. Please. Here’s hoping!
