Starship Q Star is an award-winning sci-fi comedy: When a space agency sends the “first all woman and non-binary crew” on a blatant PR mission to Mars, they inadvertently end up the last six humans in the universe. Lead by Co-Captains (and exes) Aurelia and Sim, Starship Q Star follows this madcap crew on their quest across the galaxy in search of a new home... which is basically one hilarious mishap after the other.

    Late to the party
Anyone finding this podcast the least bit funny has a broken funny bone. There was absolutely nothing, funny, relatable, or entertaining to anyone outside of the intended audience this so-called “humor” is geared toward. Even the target LGBTQ plus minus divided sign audience will struggle to find any genuine laughs this train wreck of a show has to offer. Blatantly Pandering and virtue signaling to the Gender dysphoric target audience should never be confused with comedy but I will recommend listening to the first episode so you can tell your friends you found one of if not the worst podcasts ever made. Lazy writing, and a virtually talentless cast. It’s the podcast equivalent of nails on a chalkboard and unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. my only regret is I wasn’t born with two extra hands so I could give it four thumbs down.

The double Aussie Janeways I never knew I needed
This show comes out of the gate strong. Incredibly funny and well-written.

When are we getting a live action?
In a time where quality queer content is getting canceled one after the other, in walks the perfect antidote! This production has all the gay mixed with clever dialogue, phenomenal performances, and high quality sound design. Can’t wait for future seasons!

    As Good As It Gets
I’d give this 100 stars if I could because this show has it ALL: - Witty & Clever Writing - Top Tier Performances - Incredible Sound Design - Australians - A spaceship filled with LESBIANS! Like, HELLO! Every episode makes me howl with laughter. You feel lighter after listening and in the times we are in, we all need that now!

In space, can anyone here you squee?
One of my favorite genres of audio drama podcasts is "Star Trek but make it super queer" and I've been getting that in spades recently. Starship Q Star is a weird, silly, lighthearted show with a lot of heart and warmth. Each character has their own quirks and personalities but those quirks and personalities don't overrun or muddle the narrative (which itself is a brilliant satire of 60s sci fi). It's a must listen for any fan of audio sci-fi.

Ugh I love that this exists. She-ra meets Firefly meets the L Word. Can’t wait for more episodes!

    Fun sci-fi comedy
Funny, gay, lots of great performances. The dialog is well-balanced despite the somewhat large cast that can pop up in one episode, which makes it easier to get into.

    Absolutely amazing!!
The show is amazing! It's quiet, comedy, sci-fi, and well-written. Everyone needs to give this show a try.

So excited to come across this show! As a huge sci fi fan and lover of story style comedy podcasts this show is hitting all the right notes! The queer representation is fantastic and I am very exited to see where this crew goes🙌🏻😂
