Hella TsakHilarious and InspiringI’m so delighted that I stumbled upon this podcast a few weeks back! I’m based in Portugal and I’m a novice trail runner who got into the sport in order to better discover my new country after moving here a few years back. The hosts of Tea and Trails are excellent company for any outdoor adventure (or a day of household chores), and I have learned so much about trail running in the time I’ve been listening (yes, of course I have been bingeing episodes). The hosts’s accomplishments and training schedules have inspired me to strive for more in my own modest pursuits and the guests have expanded my understanding of what I even knew was possible! As an American, I’m absolutely tickled by listening to the diversity of UK accents (and Eddie’s impressive yet hilarious American accent), and yes, I can understand all of you…most of the time ;). I’ll admit there was one moment when I wondered why in the world Gary asked a guest what their favorite takeaway mail was, and what takeaway mail is in the first place! On a more serious note, I really appreciate the diversity of topics and guests featured on the episodes and the fact that show is committed to gender parity and not being a total sausage-fest like some inferior running podcasts are. Keep up the great work, T

MountainsandWhiskeyGreat running banterExcellent chat that inspires and entertains. Love Gary fitting in any mention of the BGR and Eddie’s complete obsession with the spine. I’m a Brit who listens from over in the USA now and this is one of my favorites to feel in touch with home and I look forward to listening while I train for my BGR I hope to do in September.
