I’m updating my review! They addressed some criticism on the most recent episode so I figured I’d listen to some older episodes to see the bigger picture and now I understand that they really did like the show and are just genuinely frustrated with the direction it’s going in. I hope the show improves and I hope that they stick around for future seasons! And I appreciate anyone that can respond to critiques in a non-defensive way! Plus - I also think the symbol looks like a Yellowjacket

Why podcast about a show you don’t like?

Been listening since season 1. Every episode I tell myself to find a new podcast. Never listened to another podcast by either of these two, apparently they do a few. I chalked it up to 2 guys with no experience doing a podcast, but there is zero critical thinking going here.

One of the latest episodes the hosts stated that being a lesbian is a mental illness. I’m not sure what show these guys think they are watching, but it’s clear they don’t have the capacity to faithfully review it. Also, they just seem like jerks. Thanks but no thanks!

I have been listening to Bald Move for nearly a decade. I really enjoy their takes and I often pick TV shows to watch based on TV shows they cover. All that to say- I love this podcast! Funny and interesting.

Jim & A.Ron are just the best. I loved their takes on Game of Thrones, and listening to them dissect Yellowjackets has really added to the show for me. Thanks for all your hard work!

I agree with your podcast. I can’t totally get why there wouldn’t be any untied ends of the Walter’s idea to frame a policeman. “Phone records and bank information”. What? Then Lottie is shot in the arm, Nat is dead, Kevyn’s dead (we will probably never know how his kid is, even though we saw him last season…do the writers remember he had a kid)…now we have some supervillain that is like the Joker with Bruce Wayne’s money…are the YJs free of just murder anyone now without retribution because Walter will fix it? I think editing out scenes that would make clarity is bad too.

Admittedly I am an obsessed YJ fan but these two guys are mailing this in. I cannot blame them for jumping on a popular shows bandwagon but would it be possible for them to do a little research before just dismissing things they don’t understand as “bad writing”. Terrible

Streaming things is better if you want a real show

Listened to several Yellow Jackets podcasts trying to find the right fit. Most were fine, but rife with a lot of self-indulgence on the parts of the podcasters. Jokes, laughing at their jokes, tangents, tons of unrelated stuff with little time to actually analyze the show’s episodes. This one is not that. The podcasters actually talk about the show, make thoughtfully considered comments and provide food for thought. It’s a lot more satisfying than any other I’ve heard. Sticking with this one. Quality.

As a Black woman, sometimes it’s hard to find a podcast that doesn’t immediately make me want to turn it off for the hosts utter lack of perspective. Jim & A.Ron have never, ever let me down! I’ve listened from GOT, HOTD, TLOU and now Yellowjackets. Love their opinions and ability to hold space for perspectives that they don’t necessarily live through themselves. I’m just gonna say, some Podcasters are straight out bigots and that may be your thing but if you want great dialogue, insightful opinions, hilarious banter and excellent editing without the typical chauvinism, these guys have it. Sorry if I went too deep on this review but you guys have no idea how much I appreciate you. Thanks again. Love everything you do.

That season 2 episode 1 pod was some of the best listening I’ve done in a while. Jim seems to be thoroughly enjoying the show and both gentlemen seemed to have maybe enjoyed an edible pre-pod. Seriously, great pod, great insights and info and lots of laughs. Classic episode.

The best TV podcasters are back with another great banger of a show to recap! Can’t wait for all the juicy comments on this rip roaring show!
