Elizabarh BennettBrilliant and HonestThis podcast is brief yet full of excellent information and facts. It is for those of us that love this country. Steve, please run for office. You are a leader. I wish your voice could be heard everywhere. A brilliant orator of our time.

JCBond1Doesn’t let the guest talkSteve when you have a guest you talk too much over them. Let other people speak.

Prometheus---Great podcastSteve, which one of the following podcasters/journalists will be the first to be hauled off to some detention center or camp and never heard from again for something they said or wrote? Rachael Maddow James Carville Keith Olbermann Tim Miller Steve Schmidt Rick Wilson Nicole Wallace George Conway Chris Hayes Jeff Goldberg Don’t be naïve…..my money is on Wilson, with Olbermann a close second, you show

sue p momYou tell it like it is!You should run for President! You can be our Alexei Navalny… we sure need one!

MotoMGOK, so now what?Steve, I listen regularly and agree with you about 95%. Here’s the problem: what’s happening now is the result of decades of intellectual dishonesty and malpractice, largely on the part of the right wing. But now that they hold power….yes, power!….over the rest of us, reverse engineering a comeback isn’t going to work. We can’t “out-stupid” them, they have too much practice! And Americans are addicted to “stupid.” I sight Honey Boo Boo as evidence. So…. You’re great at illustrating the problems, perhaps better than anyone because you used to be on the inside. But it’s just not going to solve our problems. You need to find your way into the center-left political machine and fix their messaging. It’s possible, though, that you’re just too abrasive and intolerant of many of the potential rising stars in that realm. You should try to figure it out, Brother. It might be our only hope.

BGDemHappy that Govt is OpenI am happy that Sen Schumer did not shut down the government. Trump and musk want to destroy the federal government. They would do just that, when it is down. They would shut down the courts. They would furlough all the workers for months and months. They would have no motivation to ever bring the federal government back up, in any form that we recognize. Billionaires do not need a federal government. Democrats had to choose between two terrible options. The government shutdown would have had such horrific consequences, it could not be risked. Right now, the courts are open to push back on Trump and musk every day. Thank you for your show.

Valued Pod ListenerTelling it like it isThank you, Steve, for the energy you bring to the depraved insanity coming from this rogue administration, and complicit GOP. Why I’m relating more to Anti-Trump Republican’s than Dems these days is a shocker to me, but glad I found like-minded people who are just as enraged by what is happening as I am, and not afraid to say it. Thank you for exposing and rebuking the depraved corruption going on in MAGAland. Please offer your consulting services to the low-energy Dem party. They desperately need your help. Bernie, AOC, Crockett, Whitehouse, and Murphy seem to be the lone Dems standing up to this madness with the appropriate energy that is called for. Perhaps that’s because Dem voices are being muted in this authoritarian take-over we are experiencing. Who knows? I’m just glad the Republican Never Trumper’s are still in the fight and screaming from the rooftops. That’s how I found you.

Strait punchOffenseYou may or not know how important a mission your eye opening podcast is. You are a patriot to this country. You should have 5 stars. Thank you for leading us out of this disaster.

Jargon SocietyAd timing intrusiveWould be a five star pod if the ads wouldn’t intrude in mid-sentence, sometimes in mid-word, hurtling continuity.
-
David Veggie VieiraOne of my favorite podcasts !I look forward to listening every day. Thank you for this podcast.

Truly66Chuck Todd is a HackI stopped listening when CT said the press treated Hillary Clinton terribly and as a response she returned the favor, only CT’s response to that was it’s ok because the press corps has mortgages to pay.

Darcy467ExceptionalSteve ty so much for breaking it all down for your listeners. Your overall perspective is SPOT ON! Very scary to say the least. Keep putting it out there!!
-
riegaroThank you!The interview with Seth Moulton was inspiring and fabulous. We need more like Seth and also listened to Ruben Gallego today. These men get it about where the Dems need to ‘go’ in order to win. Thank you Steve! Love this podcast

Leeds USAHey MSNBC …… give Steve a show, and I’ll start watching again! You have such an important voice! Keep going, Steve!!

WGibson648Love the content — Hate the ShowSteve is an insightful commentator, whose perspective I admire. He is “spot on” with his assessments However, the production quality is poor. In the middle of sentences (and sometimes words) commercials get dropped in without warning. They are non-useful, and of varying volume (louder than Steve’s commentary) and bizarre length (using the 30-forward / 15-second back advancement adjustments doesn’t work). So, while I really like and admire Steve for his content, I am seriously considering unsubscribing due to the unprofessional production quality).

valentina priscillaDNC ChairI know you aren’t a Dem, but how about a run for DNC Chair? or DNC spokesperson? Let’s think outside the box for 2026, Dems!

BC3345You’re the bestAlways like what you say

Vigglette"Sir! No one wants to work for you, sir."Trump said at his rally that he was informed that no one wants to work for him. Look it up. He said he was told, "Sir! No one wants to work for you, sir."

kid dynamo 7The pardons should be optional.Steve, I just listened to the episode in which you say that the people who are on Kash Patel’s enemies list should refuse a pardon because they have done nothing wrong. I agree, but I believe that they should be given the option nonetheless. This is an unprecedented situation that they face. It’s never happened before that an incoming administration has a published enemies list with the names of the people who will begin to be prosecuted criminally or civilly, (Kash has yet to determine which), in just a few weeks time. This will cause great upheaval in their lives even though they are innocent of any wrongdoing. I hope that high profile public figures such as Liz Cheney do refuse a pardon. However, some of these people are simply election officials who didn’t sign up for endless litigation, death threats and harassment for just doing their jobs. I hope that they all refuse pardons, but they should be given the option just the same.

Blue stone heartHigh HorseSteve, I am so sorry to hear you trash Biden for doing exactly what any president and father would do! It’s funny how Donald Trump pardoned convicted felons like Roger Stone, Mike Flynn and my personal favorite Paul Manafort without any explanation and the news story died for each within days with the media and pundits. And Steve you need to come to terms with the new political climate which is not going away! Get off your righteous high horse apply & equal scrutiny. Hunter Biden has been the target of republicans and trump since 2018 when Biden had not yet even declared that he was running for president! But what trump knew was that Biden was a threat to his re election In 2020! Just like the separation of children and parents at the border, he tried to go after Hunter then to deter Biden from running! When trump lost the election the republicans continued to go after Hunter! His one remaining child from his first marriage! Stop your Pearl clutching and stop hand wringing and shut up and speak not like republicans did with his abhorrent pardons which I believe are much worse! How about focus on the future pardons of all the J6 felons he will be letting out of their prison sentences! I think that would be bad for the country! Let Joe Biden leave in peace for god sake!

makeupmynameNeeds some work.Aside from too much of a Republican bent for my tastes, Steve would do well to work on his delivery. (This is a podcast after all.) He speaks as if he’s unable to annunciate or get the words out, and his cadence is, well, kind of strange. Halting but not in a way that sounds appealing to the ear.
-
cbignerShort and to the pointI love listening to this podcast! I am able to complete it in a quick trip around town. Great info and very reasonable position!
-
K FinleyLove your showThanks so much Steve for staying true to our beliefs. We’re not going back and I keep our foot on Trump’s throat. The Orange Man is the same person (little boy Damon from OMEN 1, II and III movie) that came president in movie III. I listen to your show and all your podcasts. I love it and will continue to support you. Let’s keep up the great work and hope to see you more on Nicole Wallace show more.

Shoby777Real political talkSteve was calling for Joe to step down way before he did and was right correct all the way to the election. Democrats and Republicans can now wear FJB shirts and hats

Glacier1975MSNBC4 days til the election. Finally. Finally. I am about to hit the go button on deadline Whitehouse. Finally she books you. ‘Hello friend.’ I hope so. Good pods over and over. Thank you. We are honored and lucky for your voice.
-
Billybill1984Good podcast butI think you asked “right?” about 1000 times an episode. It’s not necessary and it’s very distracting.
-
Passionate American listenerFantasticIf you listen to one political podcast this is the one it should be. Steve brings an amazing historical knowledge and perspective to the issues he addresses.
-
Amar008Great podcast! The rhetoric is outstanding but some of the commercials are too intrusive. Especially the Agua one. So annoying!!! If they interrupt again while you’re speaking, I’m done!
-
Cwat33Needs a better editorI enjoy Steve and his thoughtful analysis, but I can’t listen to this podcast. The ads are inserted with no consideration of the content, sometimes appearing literally in the middle of a sentence! Ugh.
-
I'm _ gratefulIntrusive commercials!Love, love, love your podcast. Miss seeing you on MSNBC. Do some thing about the intrusive commercials. Announce when they're going to come or bulk on the end or beginning. Otherwise this short podcast is 10 stars
-
tmccaffr9/9Steve’s The Warning is excellent.
-
Patty2347Mid sentence adsThe mid sentence ads need to be fixed. I was listening on 9/4 and the ad interrupted Steve mid sentence. Makes it hard to listen to.
-
BibijebAds are awfulI’m not the first to note this - the ads barge in right in the middle of a sentence - very annoying and while I love this pod, it’s become difficult to listen-will probably unsubscribe.
-
SophaspongeSteve Schmidt anything!Glad to see a sign of life from Steve Schmidt- one of the first to blow the whistle on the tRump threat.
-
BT91106Ads ruin the podcast.Steve’s commentary is forceful and funny. But the loud commercials that interrupt him randomly in the middle of a sentence make this podcast unlistenable. Unsubscribing because of the ads.
-

Portland O.G.Love Steve’s voice!!I love Steve’s monologues but it would be great if there longer episodes with guests … and they absolutely could improve on doing their Ad inserts, it’s very clumsy and makes for a low quality product that reflects poorly or Steve and the advertisers
-
page twoFighting a bullyLove you, man, but this rant was a bit pointless. The issue isn’t whether Joe Biden is ready or capable of fighting. It’s what kind of fight has he picked. On that point, the debate is the challenge Biden made to the school bully to meet him behind the dugouts on the playground after class! Joe Biden excels at this kind of fight. As a working class kid from Scranton, he knows exactly how to confront the bully. To prepare, his advisors should just help him get out of his own way and let his instincts take over. Agree that the win will happen when Trump is made to feel pointless and invisible!

Cynthia St JamesColumbia and Ivy League ProtestsThank you so much for your insightful coverage of the protests. The ignorance of these students is unfathomable. Interesting that they were silent during the invasion of Ukraine, the separation of migrant children from their parents, the end of their bodily autonomy by SCOTUS, and countless other injustices. Please continue to speak the truth, Steve!
-
brotherleeleeBrilliant and funnyI listen to every episode of Steve’s podcast because he’s brilliant, concise, and factual. However, he outdid himself with “never fight up hill, me boys.” Brilliant and funny.
-
RogerMcGoonLet KATIE Talk!Steve, you’ve got KATIE frickin’ COURIC on your show and you barely let her get a word in edgewise. Why have guest if you’re going to drown them out with pedantic monologues? Get a grip dude. And are you really still helping Dean Phillips? Come ON man.
