ashfletchNo more analysis paralysis!I’m so glad I stumbled across this podcast. Jessica gets straight to the point, which I greatly appreciate. She shares a wealth of information in a manner that’s digestible for novices rather than overwhelming. I’m really enjoying my time in the garden and am immensely thankful for the guidance I’ve received here while driving to work. Your website is very thorough as well. Thanks for the freebie guides!

I♥️CodyA practical and enjoyable podcast mustI am somewhat of a new gardener and this podcast has helped with so many of my questions. I love the detailed information given with Gardening tasks, and keeping everything on the lower shelf at the same time. I love that she doesn’t put herself above you because she has more experience - and I especially love that her podcast is clean 🙌🏻 I don’t have to worry about little ears hearing something they shouldn’t. I really enjoy this podcast.

Best travel hacking podcastEnthusiastic and educationalAre you a new gardener with perfectionist tendencies who has overcommitted to a season of gardening without any clue what you are actually doing and now find yourself in a panic that your first garden won’t be absolutely perfect? Don’t worry-Jessica has got you covered. I made the ridiculous decision to have 3 large raised beds installed without any idea of what to actually do with them. Any plant that I have managed to keep alive in the past is truly pure luck - what was I thinking? Cue panicked internet search for something to help me that I didn’t have to sit and read because I am a busy working mom and just don’t have time for that! I found this podcast and binged it while commuting and cleaning my house. It was easy to do because Jessica’s easy conversational pace allowed me to actually retain the information rather than feel the need to pause for note taking. She presents the information in a simple way bit I don’t feel like she is dumbing it down. I have already learned so much and I am going into this growing season less afraid! Additionally, I had a question and reached out to Jessica and she replied with awesome details about my questions. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in learning more practical advice about backyard organic gardening.

Peace4ulGenerous informationI’m not a beginner gardener, but like Jessica I have a curious mind that always wants to improve on what I’m doing for my garden, nature and the environment. Jessica’s generous nature, honesty, and informative personality is so addictive. I have also learned quite a bit since, I’m not organized and boy is she!!! So Thank you Jessica to help improve our garden endeavors and persuade others to embrace the gardening lifestyle! My hats off to you!!! To our beginner gardeners out there: Start at episode 1 and go from there. Jessica will help guide you through and remember to start small.

huysunConcise & informativeShe’s just real. I like all the advice especially since I also live in Oregon. Also, I like no commercials, but I also know she’s giving her time up for free & should be compensated for all her advice. Thank you so much for giving great information in small bits & not dragging it out over 60-90 minutes. You are great to listen to!

ElizaCostJessica puts her heart and soul into this.Jessica goes far and above in giving great information. It’s easy to understand when you listen that she is on a mission to do her best to make sure her listeners are successful gardeners, regardless of their experience. She does the podcast to teach and give back. It’s a passion, not a job. And it shows. Thank you so much Jessica. I feel like I’m listening to a friend when I tune in from Fletcher, NC. Bless you. Elizabeth

Robbie LouDown to EarthI’m new to this podcast. Love it! Jessica seems to offer such useful and and practical information! I really appreciate her easy going manner. As a longtime gardener and a Wisconsin native, I’m glad to hear she left CA. Selfishly thinking I'm likely to get more info for my use in zone 5☺️

FoxBeeLove this podcastI am enjoying this podcast so much. I find each episode filled with useful information and I love that it is tied to the season we are in and helps me figure out what to do right now. I would love to hear a full episode with details on choices/best ways to set up low tunnels or other winter protection for outside.

JM WhitleyInfectious optimismIf Jessica believes you can do it—you can!! This is instructive, actionable gardening practice that is respectful of beginners, experienced gardeners and “failures” all at once. In Ep 20, she addresses a common plant pathogen, how to handle it and avoid it, all without judgement or panic. Jessica is the more experienced garden buddy I needed. (Zone 6a checking in!)
