This podcast is guaranteed to get me through a boring workday. I could listen to it all day, everyday!!

I subscribe to so many creepy pods but I keep coming back to this one the most. This is perfect if you’re looking for something creepy while cleaning or driving. I listen multiple times a week and there’s always a nice variety. Love the different outdoors locations and love the way the stories are told.

Show used to be very good. He started using an AI generated voice a few months ago. Not a fan of using AI.

This narrator is the first person I started listening to five years ago, and he remains my favorite on all of his channels that he narrates. The stories are always so good, and his voice is perfect for narration. I love that it’s his voice and not AI, which is taking over way too many of these channels now. Great stories and great storyteller. Thank you!!

I really love the podcast and the narrators voice most of the time. but there is something exceedingly irritating about the way he portrays a western or American. I have to skip the podcast every time I hear the fake twang. I’d much rather listen to the story in your amazing accent!

Was looking for a new show to put in my rotation. I like eerie cast’s other shows. I have heard this narration style before and truly enjoy! Also love tales from the break room and unexplained encounters.

I really love listening to these podcasts but I don’t think these stories are real. They are just so ridiculously fake

Listening to the latest episode and there are so many inconsistencies like before you read the stories on air do you not even fact check??? Because he’s saying Montana and the Ozark mountains don’t even go up that high plus every city he is referring to is located in Arkansas near the ozarks not only that but I 60 doesn’t even go near Montana again things that only took me like five seconds to realize. I love the podcast but if you are trying to say it’s true at least fact Che

I’ve listened to almost all of unexplained encounters and was so excited when they added the campfire! The only complaint I would ever have is that there are not enough episodes as I listen to them for hours on end 😂

There's just something about the new narration that bothers me. Going to take this one out of rotation.

I love Unexplained Encounters, and Tales from The Break Room, so I thought I’d give this new Darkness Prevails endeavor a go. I HATE the new voice. I am a trucker; I listen to podcasts while I drive. The average large truck noise level inside is 85 Db, the same as running a gas lawn mower. The new voice is too soft and lugubrious for me to hear it, even with bone-conduction sound. Interesting content, but what good is it if you can’t hear it (or if the low droning sound puts one to sleep)?

Not thrilled about the new host. I liked the old one. I liked the vibe the old host gave, this British accent just doesn’t fit with the vibe for me personally. I will be unfollowing this here, but will still listen from time to time on youtube

Not that I didn’t like previous host but new host voice is great to listen to. Have been listening for well over a year now and the show is very consistent with releasing episodes on time.

Pretty much all the eerie cast podcasts are the same. The narrator is great. Great pace, great voice, great delivery. There are minor editing issues in most episodes, like looped audio, but other than that the structure and editing are great. However, the story selection is not great. My main issue is that these stories are allegedly true, but none of them are written like first hand testimonies. They’re all written like high school level fiction. Most of the stories are insanely unbelievable, but aren’t good enough to be entertaining. Updated: no longer following or listening. Every episode includes a very obviously made-up story involving some boring and overdone iteration of what people think a skinwalker is. I was only listening because of darkness prevails, but the new narrators voice and style does not match the theme of the show at all. It was ok while it lasted.

Totally love this podcast & all the others you do. This is so interesting & cool. Great story teller with interesting tales to tell. The only problem is I wish there were more. lol. Thanks for all of your podcasts. They’re my favorites!

Enjoy each story. I enjoy the narrators voice. I recommend these stories. I look forward each night to listen to them in bed before I got sleep.

Darkness Prevails is truly one of the best narrators and is actually the first one I had ever listened to. This show dedicated to camping horror is genius. I can never get enough of camping/forest horror so you can imagine my excitement about this show. The stories are some of the creepiest I’ve heard yet and I look forward to more and more from DP.

Darkness Prevails a AMAZING narrator!! Excellent stories, always keeping you at the edge of your seat, he isn’t one of those who at times make you wanna change the channel, his stores are interesting. If i could id give his 20 stars.
