How to Win 2024

As Democrats continue to dust themselves off after big losses in 2024, MSNBC’s Jen Psaki examines what’s next for the party. On “The Blueprint with Jen Psaki,” she dives into two crucial questions: where do Democrats stand in this moment? And how can they win again? With a format built for real conversations and necessary pushback, Jen sits down with some of the left’s biggest names to talk about confronting Trump 2.0 and how the party can shape the future they’d like to see. This is a space for edgy, honest discourse where Jen will go beyond political talking points to determine “the blueprint” for what lies ahead.

    Jenn Does A Great Job
I watch Jenn’s shows on MSNBC and have added her podcast The Blue Print to my podcast lineup. She does a great job on her guest lineup, her interviewing along with her upbeat personality.

    Effective fights
Yes I want to see Democrats fighting but I don’t want to see fighting just to prove Dems can fight. I want to see EFFECTIVE fighting.

    Just what we need…
…honest conversations and new ideas. Jen, please listen to Stacey Abrams. No need to be afraid of words like authoritarian and oligarch. Do as she says, trust your audience. We are smart enough to hear it. When in doubt include simple definitions. Keep up the good work. I work and pray that we can keep democracy and get good people in office.

    Talk to Senator Ruben Gallego
I listened to an interview with him describing how he won in Arizona. He has some good suggestions for democrats . Similar to some of the ideas suggested by Rahm Emanuel.

    Stacey Abrams
How this woman is not in government office is beyond me. Ms. Abrams has a common sense manner that should appeal to so many. Dare I say Buttigieg/Abrams in 2028?

Five Stars for a breezy show!
Jen’s conversational approach seems much more relaxed and breezy than her Sunday afternoon and Monday evening MSNBC broadcasts. This sounded less scripted and more organic. Jen has found her groove!

Why are you platforming misogynist and failed broadcaster Don Lemon? Shame.

Excellent interviews with Jemele Hill & Governor JB Pritzker
Jen's interviews with Jemele Hill & Governor JB Pritzker were excellent! Jemele and JB offered great insights and practical suggestions for the Democratic Party, Democratic politicians at all levels of federal, state, and local government and people in the U.S. It is going to take the work, voices and actions from all of us to make a difference and fight to keep our democracy intact.

    Don’t miss this one!
Loved the conversation with Jemele Hill! She was insightful, candid and inspiring—definitely what I needed to hear this morning. She gets at the heart of why action and awareness matter, and why Democrats (and anyone who cares about democracy and freedoms being trampled) need to realize we can be noble in our aims without being accommodating to those who clearly have no regard for the norms surrounding public discourse and civic life.

    Governor Pritzker
Thank you got your interview with the Governor. I did not know that much about him and now I am hoping he seeks higher office. What an outstanding man.

    Love the new podcast!
Episode with Jack Schlossberg was terrific. He is breaking through the noise and getting the attention of my two teenage boys on social media….not a small feat.

    Great so far!
Listened to the interview with Wes Moore this morning - so good! Jen is a great interviewer, and lets the person she is interviewing talk! Sounds simple, but so many podcast hosts don’t seem to get it. Moore is a rising star in the Democratic Party - looking forward to seeing where he goes from Maryland governorship!

In this time of trump/musk takeover…..
Whoever thought this would be a good idea to do a damaging podcast about. Democrats is insane. Jen psake I am so disappointed in you. Why don’t you just go down to Mar-a-Lago and kiss the ring. I couldn’t even listen to the whole episode, I just got angrier and angrier at you.

    Great conversations
I loved the interview with Jack Schlossberg. So many take aways… A big one is the need for the left to have a podcast equivalent to Rogan - culture meets politics. I love so many left podcasts, but they are all politics. This is not accessible for everyone and is not attractive to everyone.
  • @the_dan
    Fills a niche for me
Jen is a good interviewer, and the length of the conversations is in the sweet spot for me. So far, she balances insider knowledge with inquisitiveness. Like, she knows her stuff but isn’t a know-it-all. She also lets her guests be the main character, which not all MSNBC hosts do.

The Blue Print ..JS interviews WM
1st time listening to the Blue Print, mistakenly day after SuperBowl..Now I like Jen Psaki esp interviews. But OMG couldn’t stop 😂..smug sounding Gov.Wes Moore telling us I’m rather good at prediction, @70%..people ask me before they place bets..that kind of bravadoes. “Chiefs are going to win”!!!! with a litany of why.. Jeez man hope you’re better at certainty in the political game fr

    Thank you, Sen. McCaskill
I’m sad this podcast is winding down although I understand. This was my only must-listen podcast throughout election season. You all got to the heart of things quickly & clearly. I hope there is an iteration of a podcast lead by Sen. McCaskill for these next 4 years. She’s the voice I want to hear. In the meantime, thank you to the entire team. Somehow, someway we will get through this (esp if you all do another podcast!)

    Thank You Claire
Thank you Claire, Jen, and all co-hosts for having done this informative podcast. Though we leave sad with our loss, and we cried alongside you, we continue forward with our heads high, and ready for the next chapter. Looking forward to your next project, and definitely how to win 2026. Sincere thank you for your service. Time to roll up our sleeves.

    How to Win 2024
Every week my FIRST go-to podcast, and there are 5 political ones I listen to. Claire is the best host; you can’t beat her institutional knowledge, political savvy, and no-bull talk. The guests are timely. I’m a former federal law clerk, and her prosecutor hat is invaluable. Hope Kamala wins in 2024 AND 2028. And Claire keeps hosting towards 2026!

    Good, but oh, my
I just stopped dead in the middle of an episode as a guest was saying that voting for a California liberal is a hard ask and it's still Trump's race to lose. If that's true and it's easier to vote for a convicted felon and sex offender than a California liberal, we've already lost. Irrevocably.

There is an article in The New Yorker week of July 22nd by Jonathan Blitzer entitled “Inside The Trump Plan for 2025.” Thought this should be brought to the attention of listeners so people know what is happening behind the scenes in MAGA world. Truly very scary -would like to hear your analysis.

    Nate Silver and Peter Thiel
Google these two together. Nate who runs the 538 polling works for Thiel now. Like everything else lately ( Trump and Epstein, legacy media now aligned with Trump) why isn’t this on the news?

    Flip Floppers
Absolutely ridiculous that this pod went from shouting the dangers of No Labels picking a candidate in a back room deal based on donor dollars to their most recent ramblings about going against the will of the voters to replace Biden, likely with someone handpicked by donors. Ashamed to have supported Claire in Missouri before and that I wasted time listening to them now.
  • VOHinPDX
I use to like this Podcast ...
But now I am SO frustrated by the Co-Hosts that I can barely listen to a full episode. They claimed the large % of Dems want Biden to step down – without pointing out that mainstream media, and it outlets, desperately want Biden shut down because they know Biden can beat Tramp - their preferred candidate. But when every Democrat including the hundreds of millions who did not watch the debate read about how it was a "disaster ", what do you think they're going to say on their landline when they actually answer the phone? Where is there outrage over mainstream media's unwillingness to tell the truth about Biden's neurological exam – which was great, and the lack of one for DJT. Why aren't they pointing out that all of the major media outlets including MSNBC, CNN, all three major networks, the Wall Street Journal, Politico, WaPo, NYT and so many TV affiliates as to be owned by wealthy white men. Wealthy white men that want Trump to win because he promises deregulation and tax cut only for the Uber and ultra wealthy. Where is your context? Where is your discussion about the progressive arm trying to oust Biden/Harris? Where is the discussion about the Democrats listening to the liberal elite, not every day Democrats like me, who struggle every day and who are wholly committed to a Biden Harris reelection? So DISAPPOINTED!
  • Debbo!
Voting for an administration not just one man.
If Biden decides to step down for the good of the country. Then he needs to make an announcement in the oval office with all former presidents and vice presidents democrats/republicans and their wives present (minus Trump). State who this group of american patriots feel should run for president and vice president. (I prefer Harris/Shaperio or maybe Harrisl/Cheney). Then tell the DNC delegates to vote on this ticket by the deadline needed to insure all states will allow this on their November ballots. Let the American people know he is doing this to save democracy
  • Renita from Florida!
    Love these ladies!
I love the realistic discussion about replacing Biden with another Democrat to run again the most destructive person in our history!

    Minority Rule
I have been listening to discussions about the debate all day. One word that I’ve heard often is “Autocracy”. Trump is certainly an autocrat-in-waiting. I just don’t think most people truly understand the ramifications of that. They believe they want Trump to have the power to do the things they want the government to do (or not do). It seems not to occur to them that Trump could do none of the things they want and many things they don’t want. I do believe people understand “Minority Rule”. That term has the added advantage of being what the powers behind Trump are looking to achieve. It is a simpler concept to understand and I wish I heard more experts using it. Keep up your good work!

    Election Fraud
Democrats rigged elections are what we have now. Data doesn't lie. Our votes do not count so stop pretending we have a choice on who is elected. That is the truth.
