HALF of each episode is ads
I do enjoy the podcast and have been a fan for years but the ads are so excessive and LONG. I understand having ads and i listen to lots of other podcasts with them. This one is another level.

    Subtle Flex & Amish Listeners
Have been listening to your podcast from the beginning. I always look forward to Wednesdays. Loved the subtle flex episode. You can add having an Amish listener to your list of subtle flexesšŸ˜‰reach out if you want a horse drawn ā€œcarriageā€ ride;)

    5 stars, mama!
APsolutely obsessed since day one and if I could leave 5 stars every week I would. And if youā€™re not on Patreon, youā€™re missing out even more! Thank you for the laughter, genuineness and just pure joy that both of you bring!

    Used to love
I used to love listening to this podcast and was a big fan of Kristinā€™s, however, this podcast has sadly turned from what it used to be. So out of touch with reality and struggles their listeners could be going through, as they tend to only talk about their $400 sushi, aura rings, and designer clothes. All about themselves, money, etc. and so hard to listen to!

    Kristin is insufferable
I listen for Jonā€™s positive and happy personality but Kristin is egocentric, selfish, materialistic and gluttonous.

    What happened?
I loved season 1 of this podcast and would listen to each one but lately things have different and Iā€™m not excited for new episodes anymore. Somehow this podcast has become ā€œKristinā€™s Pointā€ and she just rants on and on about her life and all the things sheā€™s buying or doing. I miss hearing from Jon!! Please bring back the lighthearted, positive and balanced dynamic you had in season 1!

    HEAR ME OUT!!
HONEST TRUTH- this is my new favorite podcast but it takes a second to realize this. Hear me out until the end, so I was a big fan of Kristin Johnā€™s for a long time but just ended of fizzling out of her content because it just was too perfectly written and when I heard she was coming out with a podcast with Jon, I was skeptical because it felt like everyone is doing a podcast these days because they can. I decided to give it a listen months ago and I did not care for it. Not to sound harsh but it seemed like two self absorbed rich people complaining about first world problems. Well for some reason I decided to give it another shot two weeks ago, maybe boredom, and I realized that these are two of the funniest people who have a type of humor that is hard to get at first but itā€™s so hilarious when you understand that they are two people of different backgrounds and totally know their flaws, characters, and personality. They seriously crack me up the way they interact. Itā€™s exactly my type of humor. Now Ive binged 70+ episodes in less than two weeks and Iā€™m seriously obsessed. Itā€™s like listening to your best friends yapping and chatting about life and youā€™re in on the fun. Iā€™m laughing out loud and telling my husband all the tea and stories. I have never looked forward to podcast episodes coming out, and now Iā€™m so excited for Wednesday releases. I love that they are so down to earth, and arenā€™t afraid to speak their minds, itā€™s just a refreshing break from the ups and downs of laughs to tune into a podcast that just take you away from the world issues and into a friendship that makes the long days shorter. I just seriously canā€™t recommend the podcast enough now. Donā€™t be like me and judge it before you really give it a chance. I can now say Iā€™m a HUGE fan and seriously considering Patreon to get more insider scoop. I love that Kristin and Jon are just so open about God, life, and the good, the bad, and the ugly. I just love their content and personalities and I hope they keep this podcast going for a long time. Thanks for being yā€™all! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! šŸ©·šŸ‘

    Best podcast youā€™ll find!
Iā€™ve only been listening for a few months but have listened to every episode. I feel like Iā€™m best friends with Kristin and Jon! Love the fun, light hearted and uplifting points they make!

    This couldā€™ve been an email
When they have an actual topic to focus on, itā€™s good. But when they are just going off the riff itā€™s baddd like it feels like a podcast that couldā€™ve been an email. Update each other about life stuff on your own time then come to the pod with specific topics to get your unique takes on. Thatā€™s whatā€™s interesting.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE TTP
I have listened since the first episode and I have loved getting to know Jon & Kris and feel like they are two of my closest friends. The banter is hilarious and I am cackling at their jokes every Wednesday. I always finish an episode feeling uplifted. Truly my favorite podcast ever, I would 10/10 recommend to anyone I know!!!
  • ceedee4553
    One sided friendship
Jon is an amazing friend/listener/supporter to Kristin and all of her stories but Kristin could not come off as more uninterested in Jonā€™s stories if she tried. I truly hope sheā€™s a better friend off the pod. Jon deserves a cohost who cares (or at least fakes to care) about what he has to say.

    Prideful, whiny, & materialistic
Let me try this again because my last review got deleted.. šŸ¤” Kristinā€™s true colors really shine through on this podcast. She comes off as very full of herself and might actually be a narcissist. She is always talking about herself, complaining and telling stories where she is the victim and is never wrong. Stories that could have been avoided but she seems to get irritated and triggered by the smallest things. She comes off very mean girl and sometimes is just flat out rude. Jon constantly enables her and puffs up her pride. I would love to hear more from him but he often comes to the podcast with nothing so he ends up just interviewing Kristin. Jon please stop kissing up to her and enabling everything she does and maybe the podcast might actually be worth listening to.

    Best friend vibes
As a fellow tradwife, mama, barista (jk thatā€™s my husband) I just love having this on if even in the background. Iā€™m pregnant with boy #2 and my husband travels. So me AND my 2.5 year old son LOVE the podcast. He requests it. Thanks for being my besties while I clean and chase a wild boyā¤ļøšŸ˜Š

    My latest obsession!
Iā€™ve been on the hunt for a podcast similar to The Toast but faith-based. I almost gave up the search and concluded that it didnā€™t exist but thankfully I found TTP and completely fell in love. BRB day dreaming about being besties with Jon + Kris and moving to Nashville to be part of their crew.

Great show but kinda feels like theyā€™re not even acknowledging reality
I get that people want to escape but I think we are going through a lot of terrible stuff as a country under the Trump administration and it would be nice if they at least acknowledged some of this horrible stuff some of their listeners are going through. This podcast feels like fluff right now in a time of hardship for many. You donā€™t have to discuss it in detail but just acknowledge your privilege.

Was good before half of it was ads :) also Kristin does love talking about herself lol
    Thatā€™s it

    Two queens ranting
This podcast is literally two queens ranting šŸ˜‚ Truly just babbling without a care in the world about if it makes sense. The quality of the content has decreased rapidly but Iā€™m sure the base audience will stick around. I hope they take the constructive criticism I see in other low star reviews.

    Cozy-core lives here
Iā€™m a fairly new listener, and I wasnā€™t sure I would like this podcast as I could tell that a lot of the episodes literally lack a ā€œpoint.ā€ However, Iā€™ve really grown to love this podcast and appreciate that itā€™s cozy because itā€™s unstructured. I can listen to the episodes and I know the overall themes will be positive and light. The faith topics that Kristin and Jon weave in are surprisingly deep and thought-provoking, which I did not expect at all and absolutely love. Great job, hosts :)

    Used to be my fave
Used to be my favorite podcast, but I feel like more and more Kristen talks only about herself. Every time Jon says or shares something she has to make it about her, talk over him, or tell about a time that that happened to HER. Kinda disappointing. Also, Kristin is a mean girl now. Great Christian example. Gossipy and nasty

    Dear Mediaā€¦
Guys. The ads are soo long it is becoming outrageous. Like I get it. But itā€™s like 1/3 of the episode. Love you guys but the materialism is getting to be a bit much!

Love this podcast! Feels like catching up with a friend.

    Jon overhyping Kristen
Jon clearly tries to cover up any narcissistic attitude shown by Kristin. Itā€™s painful to listen to. Sheā€™ll say something so rude and condescending and heā€™ll try to turn it around & be like ā€œno yeah but youā€™re so wholesome and humble.ā€ I have a feeling everyone covers for Kristin when in reality sheā€™s a mean girl.

    A bit out of touch
Dear Jon and Kristin, I've enjoyed listening to your podcast since the beginning and have tuned in to every episode. It's something I usually look forward to each week. However, I've noticed that the recent episodes have felt a bit "off" and "out of touch." After checking the reviews, I realized that I'm not alone in this sentiment and I agree with some of the constructive feedback I've seen. I appreciate seeing more of Kristin's personality and getting to know Jon better, but the recent focus on ranting and gossiping about others has been overwhelming. When Kristin asks Jon, "was this too much?" and he responds with "no," I believe it's important for Kristin to trust her instincts regarding the content she shares. Some discussions have come across as overly judgmental, and certain thoughts might be better left unsaid. Additionally, the materialistic and consumeristic focus in some episodes feels shallow and has impacted me negatively. It's made me reconsider my relationship with the podcast as it influences my mindset in ways I don't find beneficial. While I empathize with the challenges of being an influencer, I understand that it is important to give feedback as an audience member and I say these things with undermost respect. I genuinely appreciate the hard work you both put into the podcast, but I feel that a shift in approach and content is necessary to retain and grow your listener base. Wishing TTP all the best moving forward.

    Had to Stop
I have followed Kristin since 2016 but have had to recently stop watching/listening. She is very tone deaf and constantly flaunting her lavish lifestyle. She gives the impression that she does not care about her followers one bit and all she cares about is a paycheck. Very full of herself and greedy imo.

    Love it
Love this podcast, but I fear I may have to stop listening if Jon doesnā€™t quit the accents šŸ˜… šŸ’›

    My Favorite Podcast
This is the only Podcast I truly look forward to every week! I wish it was on at least twice a week even though I could listen to them every day. The only thing that would be better than that would be to be friends, sit and have coffee with them myself! It makes every week more enjoyable and idk what Iā€™d do if Jon and Kristin stopped yapping away in my headphones every Wednesday, I would simply not be well!

    A Balmy Podcast
Truly a balmy podcast. Pleasantly warm, a little foolishā€¦ If a podcast could be a TV show, this one would be Seinfeld because itā€™s basically a podcast of nothing. Jon and Kristin yap, and itā€™s an easy listen. 4/5 stars because sometimes they say things (ā€œshut upā€ / ā€œstupidā€) that I donā€™t want my kids to hear, so I have to listen when Iā€™m by myself.

    Kristin, Kristin, Kristin
Why is it all about Kristin. She has to be the one talking (always brings the convo back to where sheā€™s the one talking). Her stories or complaining sessions arenā€™t even interesting, she has nothing new or interesting to say. Jon, on the other hand, is the one that has the interesting stories and messages. If Kristin would let him talk and not be condescending and snippy to him. She acts uninterested in what he is saying, critical of his every word, correctly him. Jon is great and should have his own podcast (he would do very well!) or find a new co-host. I loved the very first episode but it has slowly gone downhill since then. Kristin needs to try some constant sweetness, genuineness, humility, kindness (you get the picture). Yeah I know people grow and change as they age, but sheā€™s going in the wrong direction.

    The best duo
I look forward to all the points Jon and Kristin make each week. šŸ˜‰ Truly one of my favorite podcasts ever - itā€™s like spending time with my best friends. I moved across the country when this podcast started and didnā€™t have any friends in real lifeā€¦ the weekly banter between Jon and Kristin have saved my sanity!!! Canā€™t thank you both enough for the brilliant idea of this podcast and making your listeners feel like ā€œhome!ā€ (Also if you arenā€™t a Patreon member, you really are missing the point.) Love you both!!!
  • Jeca0125
How do you say, 5 stars!?!
I never jump on the ā€˜write a reviewā€™ bandwagon, but TTP pod is my one exception - itā€™s just too good. Go listen!

    A Staple for my Week
I have yet to miss an episode and look forward to listening every week! This is the kind of podcast you can listen to anywhere and it brings a little ray of sunshine to your day. I always leave inspired by at least one thing that was mentioned but never pressured which is a hard balance to attain. Thanks Kristin and Jon for your dedication to us listeners! Of course, 5 stars nothing more nothing less ;)
  • crosem27
    Mostly great.
I really like these two. Theyā€™re charming, have great chemistry, and I enjoy listening to them every week. This used to be five stars for me (nothing more, nothing less) but lately Kristinā€™s arrogance has been grating on me. She frequently talks down to Jon, and for some reason he continuously fuels the fire by inflating her ego. Iā€™m not even talking about wealth/consumerism, I honestly enjoy hearing about that, but all the self-importance is off-putting. A little more humility would go a long way, thatā€™s all.
