Love this show

This is an amazing podcast, these stories are so important to tell! I really appreciate being able to hear them, especially coming from the people that lived them. Also, unrelated side note on the OFF chance this helps anyone, whoever writes the episode descriptions may want to double check their spelling. :)

Love this podcast

So well done. It’s basically perfect. The stories are interesting, the hosts voice is relaxing yet he doesn’t try to sound robotic like some hosts, it’s suspenseful, wonderful storytelling, yet respectful of the situations and people involved. Also love that music doesn’t compete with the host. Hope there are more episodes to come.

Excellent Podcast!

This show is really well done, the host does a great job of telling the stories with great commentary from those who were involved in the event interwoven throughout. The thing that I really love the most is how the show leans into the drama of the events in a very straightforward way- without all the extra “reenactment” theatrics of the other shows that I’ve listened to in this genre. Great work!

Great podcast I don’t want to miss!

I agree with many of the reviewers; it is refreshing to hear true, edge-of-your-seat stories about real life, instead of idiots sitting around talking for 30 or 40 minutes with some celebrity that means nothing in the real world. What’s curious to me, is many of these inspirational stories either never got reported or just landed on “page 12” so no one heard about them. Keep up the good work producers, can’t wait for more!

Editing issues

Does anyone actually listen to the entire show before dropping it? I like the concept and the stories, but every episode I’ve listened to has editing issues—by which I mean a repeated portion of audio and even missing audio so some of the story is left out. Most noticeable on the The Night of Darkness episode.

Rescue is one of the very best podcasts I’ve heard. From the rescuers/hero’s to the research through the delivery of the story. I am kept intrigued, anticipating the next word. My only regret is that I didn’t discover this podcast sooner. I am thoroughly enjoying my current binging of these episodes but am saddened by the thought of becoming caught up.
