    Cruel and abusive ads
Be prepared to hit the button which pauses or jumps forward. The ads are loud and nasty. Don’t reward the ad sponsors with your patronage.

    Loud Ads
There are so many loud ads. I’m not going to use this any more. One ad started with a metallic screeching noise. It startled me while I was driving. Not good.

    Ads are LOUD
Ads are expected. Run them at the beginning at the same volume as the podcast. Then ad free during show.

    Commercial placement suggestion
Please front-load all commercials for podcasts. It makes for a much improved listening experience. I listen to podcasts to help me sleep. If the story is getting interrupted with obnoxious ads then it’s over.

Great Narrator but missing a chunk
There’s a big chunk missing towards the end of Disc 1, right after Ann buys a boat passage. Had to listen to it on an inferior narrator’s reading. Otherwise fabulous!

    Horrible commercial breaks
I understand podcasts need sponsors but is it necessary to interrupt in the middle of a sentence and to have the volume of the ad twice as high as the content?
