I love wrestling and NYC, so listening to this podcast combines a few of my favorite things. Sometimes it’s a little light on the wrestling, but still enjoyable. I listen when I need something light-hearted on my way to work. I like the varying opinions of Peter, Dip, and SGG and the humorous conflict and banter. Keep it up, guys!

25 min in. No wrestling talk.

This pod is very frustrating. Dip, SGG, and Rosenberg are very passionate and knowledgeable wrestling fans. However, they barely talk wrestling. They spend over half of a pod, talking about bagels, airlines, and their grievances. It’s disappointing how much they focus on other topics because when they actually talk wrestling, the show is quite enjoyable.

Been a listener since the Shoes era. Sweet Pete, Greg and Dib are all greeatttt guys. I do wish we could get back to 50/50 split between nonsense and wrestling. Ever since this new new new new era started we are at least 80% nonsense. Still entertaining but Miss the wrestling talk.

Ever since P was rehired with WWE the pod has took a step down. It’s still good but it’s pretty much a WWE only pod now. If they talk AEW at all it’s 2 min.

Idk. I really don’t care about the every day lives of Pete, Greg and Dip. I get it, yall live amazing lives. Just give me wrestling reviews.

Super entertaining podcast!

I’ve tried so many times to give this show a chance, but every week it gets harder and harder to ignore the massive main character syndrome of Peter and his relentless subjectiveness and refusal to hear anyone else’s opinion.

I’ve been a long time fan of the show but Dip is too dismissive of other opinions and the constant bickering between him and SGG gets harder and harder to listen to every week.

Ugh…What happened to this show?

Might need a Cheap Eats Pod spinoff on patreon. 15 minutes of oven settings talk this week if you want to skip ahead. SGG is the only one who pays attention and watches the shows. Pete & Dip sound like they just watch clips of the shows because they’re too busy.

I’ve been listening for years. Listened for the wrestling content. It has reached the point that many podcasts reach where a little listener engagement convinces the hosts that the podcast is about them and not the subject matter (wrestling). Have to get through 30 minutes of them talking about bagels before they mention wrestling.. I’m done.

These guys are lefties, and though they do their best not to infuse the podcast with their woke rhetoric, it still sneaks in from time to time, which is unfortunate, but hey, it’s their podcast.

paying for extra content is a joke. For yrs everything is free. They hardly talk wrestling they just take turn stroking Peter's Ego. Now they want money for less wrestling and more bagel talk. Short episodes, Dip always busy and Greg is always on vacation. Peter has enough money. Im good . Im out.

Listened to cheap heat for years. Something has happened to Peter. He is not the same. Turned into a complete ego maniac, and SGG and Dip are just yes men. Especially SGG, what the heck is even the purpose of that guy other than to tell Peter how great he is. I am no longer a peckerhead. See ya ✌🏼

That was about 10-15 min talking about the current product and 35-40 min talking to Brian Gewirtz about another doc on WCW. Is patreon where we have to go hear takes on the current product?…Doubtful

I’ve been a longtime fan of this show through various incarnations. When Pete and crew broke from The Ringer I was happy but also suspected the switch to a pay model would be coming soon. It didn’t take very long for content to be removed and placed behind the paywall. Rather than creating new content for Patreon subscribers, Pete decided to take away current content from all listeners and charge for it. Sorry, I’m not following on that. It’s been a great ride. Good luck but I’m out.

Hate to see the move to PAYtreon but as a senior citizen on limited income I cannot afford to PAY Good bye old friends

Cheap Heat is 75% random stuff from their daily lives (mainly Peter’s) and 25% wrestling talk. But that 25% is so good I’m down to sit through the other bagel talk. lol. MAJ.

Love Dip. Love Rosenberg’s interactions with Dip, but he’s kind of a Sally lately.

I come to the Cheap Heat Pod for wrestling convo. The wrestling convo is ALWAYS MAJ!…. Whether I agree or disagree with the takes- When Pete uses the wrestling pod to get off political takes, it’s a no for me dawg.

The best wrestling pod there is. Through all the versions, this may be the best yet I have been listening since 2015!

My Ringer podcast days are over now that Cheap Heat is off there, along with many others I’m sure. Peter , Dipp and SGG are the funniest, funnest, maj-est, informative wrestling group out there and you won’t find anything better as a wrestling fan. They somehow have a way of making you feel like there part of there crew which makes the show more fun.

Fellas, you guys are the best. I will follow you everywhere, but I am not a fan of the new intro. This new intro sounds way to similar to the Masked Man show’s intro; and it doesn’t sound as good as theirs. Please 🙏🏽 consider changing it.
