This series really gets my creative process working. Using examples, sound advice and a collaborative "we good authors" tone the speaker gives assignments. This is a writing course in your pocket that even asks you to turn in your work. I'm hoping this will be the writing tool that finally gets me to stop daydreaming and get it done. "you sure have had some adventures, have you thought about writing a book?" she asked. "I'm going to, the library is full of books all written by someone." As he said this she could see something in his eyes and she knew, he would never get it done.... "I listen to 'writing exercises' while I work out, that's what gets me going" she smiled carefully. Then she saw his eyes sweep over her body, a little too slowly. "if the writing exercise works half as well as the gym, it's amazing " he leered. "it only works if you do the work" she said, as she walked away. Download this, and lose five pounds of ugly words overnight!

    writing block donkey kong
This is the most efficient use of a podcast for writing on itunes! Believe me, I've tried almost all of them. I used to hate sitting in front of an empty screen, but now I write every night from one of the writing exercises he gives at the end of each show. In a month I have written 20,000 words - which with my full-time job and graduate school homework is actually quite amazing.
