    This is the best!
So good! I listen to lots of other podcasts but this is the best one! I also love spooked. It has really scary stores.

    Best story podcast
Love the host! Their commitment to interesting stories from so many perspectives is admirable! I’m also a huge fan of the their sister podcast “Spooked”

    Fell into propaganda trap
The latest episode about a self-claimed Uyghur escapee is a story sponsored by Coda Story, an organization received funding from NED. In addition to the long debunked prosecution of Chinese Muslim smear campaign, the sourcing of the story itself should give anyone with a cursory knowledge of foreign policy a pause. Much like the widely propagated “Havana Syndrome” fairy tale, an unverified story—especially when convincingly told—can have detrimental impact on public sentiment just when Cold War talking points once again en vogue. I know this isn’t a podcast made by rigorous journalists. Given its popularity, however, I’d expected for some level of scrutiny. Not every one of your audience has the knowledge or time to look up for themselves.

Glynn Washington is one of my very favorite people hosts ever.
This show is always good. Glynn’s childhood stories at the beginning of most episodes make the shows even more relatable and interesting. I love his voice and his heart and his true love of people.

    Best Show On The Internets
Glynn Washington is something special -- he and Team Snap have created the most amazing sonic experience, EVER. I truly don't know how they manage to produce so many original episodes every year of such quality. Gold Standard! Do yourself a favor and subscribe right away.

    This Washington I love!
The eyes are the light of body and this podcast gives life to my ears and enlightenment to my sprit! I love all of it especially, especially the introduction! This Washington I can appreciate and have grown to love!

    Amazing but…
I can’t stand Mr Washington … I don’t care for his intro stories. The stories are so amazing, I wish there was a different intro or he didn’t say anything. Just food for thought. - Just read Peace and Pork Grease, 100 percent agree.

So glad I'm able to revisit the second best audible content available to mankind
I used to be So happy to catch an episode on npr, back in the day. After losing touch with npr, unfortunately I lost touch with snap judgment. A memory of a past show lead me to this podcast. I'm staring at the beginning and loving, every, single, episode. Thank you, Glynn Washington!!
  • Best I’ve ever listened in to

I love snap🫰 and for the rest of my life I’m going to like it even when I’m in heaven I just can’t even imagine what it would be like if this show didn’t was gone

    Still going strong!
I can’t believe I never rated and reviewed SJ before! It was one of the first shows I ever listened to in a podcast form and it is still SO good—Glynn, you’re the man! Silver Dollar Lounge is still one of my favorite stories and it gives me hope that we can overcome our differences if we are open to just listening to one another. I try to hold on to Daryl’s message everyday. Thank you for this amazing show.

    Pronounce Correctly Please
The word escape is pronounced E-S-C-A-P-E not E-X-C-A-P-E. Please pronounce it properly. Thanks.

    “New Episode”
This podcast is wonderful, which is why I’m giving 5 stars. But re-releasing an episode of Spooked as a new episode here? That’s pretty lame. It basically says you have no confidence in the integrity of your listeners. Love y’all

    Story telling at its best
I love this show! Story telling at its best, equal to This American Life and Ted radio. Superb editing of narration and soundtrack. I look forward to new episodes each week.

    Bonkers - Sheep Guy
What a sad story. This man has zero self awareness and inability to understand his own worth. I hope he did learn something from this and is getting therapy.

    Never a dull moment
I can always count on this podcast to make me laugh, think and learn. Every second is precious. Thank you. Please keep ‘em coming!

One of favorite podcasts of all time
Every episode is interesting. Topics are diverse. Sound engineering is brilliant. Creative spin on so many subjects. Glynn Washington has one of the best voices on radio!! SO MUCH appreciation for this show! 😊

    Great Stories
Somehow I’d lost my link to Snap Judgement- I thought they quit producing. So glad to find again and now have enough backlog to binge! Stories we need to hear and may not hear outside of Snap Judgement. Great work!
  • RealDealNiel
Wayyy to many reruns these days
If you are putting out reruns more often than new episodes then you have a problem. Consider hiring more staff maybe?

    The Black Wind
I so enjoy Snap’s podcasts. This one really captured my - sit down, don’t multi task, just listen - attention! It was two stories in one. Tornado chasing is a popular media draw for TV, and I get drawn in, no doubt. But this listen with only the sound-no videos-of terror; the attention given to the life altering effects of survivors.. and so on, really moved me. Well done team!

    Great show…but
Love the show! Glen, bro, we need more of you. You remind me so much of my boys growing up. (Phoenix, AZ) OK, but… Rating: Clean <— incorrect. Not only is their foul language, there are so many episodes with allusions to sexual perversions and what not. Just sayin, clean has a whole new meaning in today’s society. Recycled episodes: I’ve listened for over 8 years and have been hearing many of the same episodes. I’m actually tired of that. Snap doesn’t lose points for that though. I can just not listen to those episodes. Y’all have done a marvelous job with your catalog, but I feel like the amount of recycle needs to stop. There has got to be more short stories that all of your producers are working on that won’t see the light of day. I’ll take those over a repeat. I need more happy episodes. Why? Because I want to be happy. I’m not intrested in what is happening in the world sometimes. You’re not the news, but you feel like it, just a little bit, sometimes. If that hurts, well that should help you grow. Lastly, and please read this in that voice Glen uses when he’s making fun of old white people, your best episode EVER is nowhere to be found. I never EVER hear that one but I’ve heard so many other ‘classics’! Where is my Cocaine drug run episode! The one where they had to purchase all kinds of equipment to hijack a plane or something. Yes, it’s been that long sense that one has been been ‘replayed’. HAS it been replayed?Answer: ABSOLUTELY not. That is THE Best of the best! 😂😂😂😂 Music? You were at 3 stars but the music brings you back up a full star. There is literally no podcast that beat these beats. How you’re boy keeps bringing the dopest sounds is amazing to me. Love you guys, even though it doesn’t feel like it, but this tough love might hit with just a few of you there.

The best podcast on air. Incredible sound design and production. Been a listener for years. It’s never missed.

    Made my Vega Road Trip
I have not downloaded in a while, and found out my cousin also listens to Snap. This made for a a perfect drive. Loved the elephant story!
  • MW Hiker
I love snap judgment for the most part but
The Spooked stuff, the supernatural stuff is not for me. Ghost stories, young girls and boys haunting houses, ugh.
  • goodpodclub
Not the show it used to be..
This used to be my all-time favorite podcast. The stories were so unique and original and diverse. The show seemed to have changed after 2020, now rather than topics being diverse, it’s just all about diversity.. week after week.. and that’s great and all, but that’s not what the podcast used to be. I miss the old episodes.

    Stories that blow my mine
This show, and the stories told, never fail to amaze me, and to open my mind and heart. I love the personal narratives and anecdotes Glynn tells and the depth, vulnerability and humor explored. This show makes me a better person!!
  • Jasonande
    Thanks
I appreciate you keeping the host of the show for as long as you have because sometimes I’m just hanging out listening to NPR all day but once I hear that guy’s voice I’m like “Time to stop listening and do something else with me day.” So thanks! He’s terrible. Really gets me going!

    Tau 10.8 interesting
This topic started to bother me. Listening to the scientists talk about possibly some day inhabiting Mars and turning the River areas into a national park with plaques to memorialize their existence and discoveries. All that knowledge, money and effort could have been spent on this planet we exist on. Cleaning it up and helping the starving populations and homelessness and solving the problems of pollution. I just don’t think we are connected enough to our own existence and where we are after listening to these people talk. We have completely lost sight of what is currently right in front of us!

    Always Topical
Snap Judgment gets to the truth, sometimes gently, sometimes deeply, its episodes eye opening, and you’ll feel for the people willing to tell their stories/truths!

    Best of the best!
Great storytelling and just such an array of stories! Snap Judgement is the one podcast that I donate regularly to because it feeds my soul!

The Road to Boito soul crushing adventure hop
May God bless the sisters who used time and money at their own family’s expense to bring some justice for the beautiful children of Kenya. The man who masqueraded as a servant of God will be destroyed. That is the ultimate punishment. I can’t wait for the day.

I enjoy Snap all the time but it’s an extra bonus when we get to hear Dr. Ray’s wisdom.

Just listened to this episode and felt it very timely. Yasmine found her inner strength and just demonstrated how reaching out can have positive results. She prepared and found common ground. I also would like to mention that student for taking the time and talked to her and in in end hung her poster ack. That student also demonstrated strength and humility. The new format where Glynn speaks with the writer is great. I love to hear the insights and am never disappointed. Lastly, can’t wait for Friday to hear about the latest spooked stories. Keep it up !

    Best podcast around hands down
Glynn Washington and his producing partners have created a powerful, riveting storytelling experience that is unique and engaging.

    Audio
I can’t remember the date when the audio meaning Glynns voice changed but it’s like it is too good cause I can hear his mouth noises again I’m not sure exactly what that means all I can say is when he is talking I hear the movement between his mouth and tongue? If that makes any sense I do enjoy this podcast it is obviously professionally done maybe y’all know about this or hopefully I am the one that breaks this wide open and I will have thousands or 10s of thousands of listeners that agree with me I’m not a neurotic person but that sound is like when my older brother eats he breaths thru his nose very loud it makes me crazy and also I do apologize for the lack of punctuation is that the word I’m looking for you know .?! ect call me the king of the run on sentence I hope this is looked into and I will continue to listen either way so no need to worry yourself or self’s if I go elsewhere.,?! Peace & Pork Grease

    Poetic -“Father Forgive Me”
How does this podcast take a topic that is so otherwise polarizing and bring humanity to it? I had no experience, no ability to stand in these families shoes before listening to these stories. These families of death row prisoners are all of us. I am rethinking past perceptions, with a lens of empathy, because of having listened to this. I cannot see things quite as black-and-white as before.. there is so much gray in life.

As far as I’m concerned I have a brand new perspective on the lives of people all over the world, we are different but all the same, keep the stories coming, wow 😎

The storytelling. The production. The nat sound mixing. His voice! I love, love, love this show and his other show Spooked. Keep up the good work… you and your team are amazing!

    Great content.. until
Great content and have loved it for years, until now with that lame antisemitic terrorism pity party story.

    Simply Wonderful!
I just love this podcast. It tells stories in such an intriguing way — the introduction, the musical touches, the narration. It’s all so meticulous and wonderfully crafted. If you love great stories, listen to this podcast!!!!

    Rooty The Pig
One of the best stories i’ve heard in a while. every episode is done so well, i always end up feeling fully immersed in the story being told.
  • pnw24climber
Blergh, so over this kind of content
Sick of this show taking up space on NPR on the weekends. NPR stations used to have interesting and humorous content, but now it’s all filler stuff like this. Blah blah the world is awful, yes we all know. No need to doom spiral in it through boring stories we’ve heard a zillion times. Wish NPR would go back to good weekend programming.
  • Marksie100
    Well done!
This podcast gives you a lot of intellectual fodder. I love Glynn’s storytelling, sense of humor and irony!
