The God Story episode put such lovely language to the experience I’ve had with God during my life. I was speaking with a dear friend about the redeeming way of our Father and Lover!! I’ve been listening to the Helser’s teachings for over 5 years and I keep coming back to re-listen to these podcasts over and over. They are some of the most influential spiritual conversations that have shaped my life and I share them with friends and family often because everyone needs to hear them. Jonathan and Melissa have done the work of tending to the fruit of their own lives so well and it is such an honor to receive from their wisdom through this podcast. I’m forever changed by their leadership and faithfulness to the Lord.

These podcasts have been healing to my soul and have helped me to continually go back to what actually matters in life. Following Jesus is not about a big platform, it’s about knowing him and walking with him. Grateful for this podcast!

LOVED this episode! My daddy was in that program (still sober, 25 years later!)when your family would visit and lead our broken families in worship. That was such a wonderful time in the history of my walk with the Lord. It made me smile listening to your description of Mickey, and it is so neat to see you bringing his teachings to people beyond addiction. I married a DMC man, and we are in an off shoot ministry in SC, teaching and restoring men and their families. That 18 inch journey has been integral in our lives and is still working in the lives of these men. Hallelujah!

Jonathan and Melissa have a beautiful wisdom and love for the Father that shows in every word they say. Their podcast has played a critical part in my growth and healing and I can’t thank them enough for that. They’re so real and genuine and their vulnerability is such a comfort. The Father is in this podcast. Messy moments in my life have felt beautiful because of the permission from this podcast to be completely vulnerable in front of God as his daughter. Jonathon spoke on the Head to the Heart in a time when I felt pain surfacing in my heart that had been buried for so long… His teaching was beautiful and full of grace. I’m very thankful for the conviction of these speakers of the Lord’s goodness.

I can’t believe I found this message from Melissa. I heard this message years ago on YouTube but afterwards couldn’t find it I think they removed it from YouTube. I finally found it and it’s just as powerful as it was the first time I heard it! She knows what sustainability in God is and she makes me love the idea to an otherwise unthought of topic.

Jonathan said the producer on his new album wanted to have a “hey, Jude” moment like the Beatles. Why would his mind have anything like the devil worshipping Beatles on his mind when working on a worship album???? Very disturbing. What defilement! Where was your discernment, Jonathan, as to who you brought in to produce the album or is that you are in agreement with having that “hey, Jude” moment in your music? Your album is stained with the world.

Crazy powerful, impactful, and beautiful. I discovered the Fathers heart deeply through this podcast and learned how to lean into relationship with Him and friendship with the Holy Spirit. My eyes were opened to Gods delight and kindness and I am truly so grateful! I have recommended it to all my friends and I listened to practically every episode!

In response to “what is prophetic worship”. If we are all prophets than what’s the point of the Bible? We don’t have the power Jesus did on the earth.

One of the best podcast series I’ve come across. I have wept violently, been slapped w conviction, & stood paralyzed in awe of the goodness of God while lisenting to their stories. The Helsers are no joke. I wanna know Jesus like they do - yet I almost don’t because I know they’ve fought long & painful battles to stay close. Listening to this podcast is almost selfish because we benefit from the gold they’ve found without being thrown into the refiner’s fire ourselves. It’s like I’m remembering how good He really is all over again.
