Outstanding podcast to learn the history and current news in the cigar world. Great insights into new cigars that are coming out. Good information on the care/storing/smoking of cigars. All around ball busting and Tom foolery, very entertaining.

Sales pitch after sales pitch after sales pitch…random side stories…interesting points about what to do while smoking…the ….There was a comment made about a female dippigus (spell check?…) where if one set of lady parts didn’t work to get her pregnant then to proceed to the next: “It’s good to have options”…was the remark and it was after this point I exited the room. Now the real dilemma for me is the price point for the premium cigar package they send out monthly. But do I really really want to support what I don’t cherish…not that my contribution is needed, noticed, or appreciated. I’ll probably listen through a few episodes to see what I can learn from these guys as being self proclaimed No. 1.

The guys are retailers and do not provide honest commentary about cigars. Too often it feels like they’re trying to sell me something. There are much better cigar podcasts out there.

I’ve been listing to this show for three years now. I’ve learned a lot and loved listing along with the entire Cigar Authority crew. I know every jingle and segment by heart and used to listen without fail each week. However, over the last few months the show has started to become unlistenable for me, the teasing of one cohost about his size and “gender preference” has gone from good natured ribbing to downright cattiness that I’m trying to get AWAY from in my week. The final straw for me was when my generation was accused of the very tired as hominem of “being lazy and not working”. I work hard, I’m part of the young generation your trying to get into your cigar stores but I can’t keep listing to week after week of continued unkind remarks. I’ve hit “unsubscribe”.

I Loved the Christmas Eve show. I always feel like I am smoking with friends and this show was so much fun.

A great cigar podcast with entertaining hosts and fantastic cigar information. I enjoy listening with or without a cigar…But it’s better while having a cigar!

Every week this podcast finds ways to be educational, informative, fun, and irreverent. They are passionate about the cigar industry, and share their knowledge willingly. They don’t agree on everything…heck, sometimes on nothing…making them the best cigar show anywhere.

I never miss an episode!

I got back into cigars after being away from them for years so I started looking for some info in what’s new and found The Cigar Authority. There is so much information given on the show and the interaction with the hosts is great except for all of the picking on the true gem of the show, Mr. Jonathan, by the other hosts. Dave is always trying to get Mr. Jonathan to do things that will cause pain. They also complain that Mr. Jonathan is angry but Ed Sullivan is the frump on the show and hates everyone. In addition to learning about cigars, it’s also entertaining listening to Dave try to pronounce English words while Barry breathes heavy in the mic. In all seriousness, it really is a great show and being a member of the Care Package has introduced me to a ton of new cigars.

I’ve been listening to TGA for over a year now and it’s easily one of my all time favorite podcasts. The chemistry these guys have together, combined with their cigar knowledge, is what truly makes this podcast absolute audio gold!

I’ve learned so much about cigars this past year. It’s incredibly informative and love just feeling like I’m one of the guys in the room. I get the care package prime and love smoking along while listening to every episode!

I’ve been smoking cigars for 22 years and in the short one and a half years that I’ve been listening to this show, I have expanded my palate so much since then. I recommend signing up to their care package, what an exceptional array of cigars every month. I hope anyone who reads this gives them an opportunity and they will not be disappointed.

Love the pod. They constantly push to support your brick and motor. I would strongly suggest you do this if you know what your doing. I have 2 approx 10 miles from me in San Diego. Both consistently rape people on prices. A smoke that $6 online is $17 at the store. I have a million stories of them trying to swindle me including not realizing pricing was on the box and trying to quote a price $100 more than the label to me consistently buying a type of smoke and watch the pricing move up by $5 3 weeks in a row. I stop buying price drops. The owners out here in north county are criminals and it has ruined brick and motor support for me forever. I purchase from two guy website and am never disappointed the only downside is availability on some sticks. Keep up the great work guys love the show... and the cowbell

This is the best podcast I’ve found that is not only entertaining but, educational as well. The chemistry between the cast is what makes the show .

I’ve been into cigars for about 3 years now I listen to various cigar podcasts but after I listened to this one I find myself binge listening to this everyday!! Dave’s accent is dope haha. Barry and Ed “the Gangsta” Sullivan are cool. Mr. Jonathan is aight. Must listen!! Very entertaining!

Seriously an amazing cigar podcast hosted by cigar veterans that have been in the industry for decades! Series just light up a cigar (or two) and enjoy these funny guys company.

It’s great, it’s like smoking a cigar with friends that are down to earth and are ACTUALLY passionate about cigars. They keep me up on cigar news that matters and introduce me to products that I have never tried and was never encouraged to try. It’s high quality and I hope they never stop what they are doing.

If you’re a cigar nerd this show is for you. It goes beyond simply entertaining and delves into the nitty gritty of the cigar industry from the side of aficionado, retailer and brand owner. I love every minute of it!

David G. and his 2 Guys crew have an incredible podcast for cigar aficionados and newcomers alike. Very entertaining and educational. Please give 2 Guys your business in these difficult times. As a beginning cigar smoker, this is the place to start. I’ve been listening for the past 9 months and finally pulled the trigger on the care package (prime) because I felt left out. I also now feel more comfortable talking cigars, and am not so closed off when approached by the owner of the B&M’s. Thank you gentlemen, for what you do for us, and am glad you decided to continue on.

If you like cigars this is the ONLY podcast that I download and listen to Monday morning at work.

This is the most entertaining podcast if you’re a fan of cigars. There is a great amount of humor/banter balanced with the latest and greatest info on the cigar world. Can’t recommend this any more.

Very informative and very entertaining. The back and forth between Barry and Mr. Jonathan would make them a perfect comedy team. They are very cigar knowledgeable. David, a cigar and retailing master, leads the guys and keeps everything from getting out of hand I am sure. Ed adds a level of calmness and knowledge while making perfectly placed comments. I look forward to listening to every episode.

A great show about cigars that practically any cigar lover will enjoy. Always a laugh, and there are a lot of great interviews and information about cigars.

Very informative and enjoyable, one guy has a very New England accent, so I always listen to the Cigar Talk Radio podcast, which comes from Texas, just to balance out the accents. It is also one of my favorites

This show is definitely the authority on everything cigars. The topics discussed and guests interviewed offer any cigar smoker, from novice to veteran, an outstanding amount of information and entertainment regarding this fantastic hobby/ lifestyle. If you haven’t listened to this show yet, definitely give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I love this show, it is fun and informative at the same time! Let me state I am not a frequent smoker, I usually have one day a week where I will have a cigar, maybe two. But the information, passion, and fun for enjoying an occasional smoke is conveyed by the whole crew. I hope that all 4 of these guys continue to give reviews and knowledge to the rest of us dabblers.

I just started listening to podcasts a couple of months ago. This was literally the first one I went for. I’m binging multiple episodes a day in order to listen to them all. I was lucky to get in on the Care Package, and my first pack came this month, I love it. Thank you guys for all you do, and thanks Mr. J for changing the way I’ll look at anise and sausage for the rest of my life.

This is the best cigar podcast. They are amazing super tasters of cigars. When they open it get the care package. I’ve learned a ton listening to this podcast. Even Mr. Jonathan has grown on me. Barry is the best. I hope some day I’m in New Hampshire and can meet Dave and the guys!

02/07/19 From: long time listener, Jonathan Jones. I just heard these mouth breathing knuckle draggers read my review on the podcast. They asked for bad reviews, 5 star reviews, and updates. What is in the Studio 21 coffee over there? The new Chuck is very good on the boards; rude to Mr. J (maybe deservedly so), but a fantastic addition. The sound has never been better, Ed. Keep putting butter on that pop tart. Mr. J helped me ghost 3 “dead” lighters. My wife appreciates it. My previous review still stands, but I like Barry less now. Just kidding. I know he’s the sensitive one. Dave is still the king. The new studio is mind blowing. Cool your jets, Mr. J, I said mind. I support my local retailer as you’ve recommended, and love the care package and the cigar shop rules. I’ve been a part of the care package from the beginning, and got 4 others to join from sharing the podcast (& rules) with them. I can’t wait for the record breaking episode as the longest running podcast. Thank you so much for the great podcast. Previous review: I've got an 1 1/2 hour drive to work & these podcasts are great. The quality of the content and personality of the hosts are incredible, except for Mr. Jonathan; just kidding twinkle toes, you make me laugh. Chuck is a gentleman, Barry is a slob... I mean cigar snob, & Dave is always pressing the issues as a leader does. The show is amazing. I'd love to hear tips for new cigar smokers. You are the authority as you say.

Hey guys im a new listener from Chicago! Been listening for about a month an a half and love listening to all the great funny segments on the show. Been smoking for about 2 months now but cant seem to really get the flavors most people describe! Any tips on growing my palate or am i just screwed?

If your looking for a podcast about baseball, early 1990's hip hop, & cigars, the Cigar Authority covers one of those topics. Its about cigars and cigar culture. I love it and its good, most of the time. The Cigar Authority has a video or audio option. I would recommend the audio, because these guys arent all that pleasant to look at. Each episode is designed to inform and entertain. Are you looking for interviews with cigar bigwigs? This is the place. Wanna hang out with some cigar experts? They have you covered. Do you want the experience of being in the cigar shop without leaving your home? This is it. Ever wonder the best cigar to pair with a fine wine? or a porterhouse steak? or a painful urinary tract infection? They have the answers. The episodes have interviews and cigar talk and even games. One of the games has the boys guessing random birthdays for no particular reason. Its either called Classic Three Way or A Really Boring Ten Minutes. They even ask for emails and will read them on the air. I can tell you from personal experience if you have great idea and your really handsome they will use your idea on the show! They wont do it 100% correct, but whatever. But the main reason to listen is for the 4 guys who host the show. They are great. The first voice you'll hear is the legend Dave D. Hes the man. He eats, drinks and sleeps cigars. He keeps the show moving, does most of the talking and lets his cigar go out 3 minutes after lighting it. At times he has trouble with basic english or getting to the point, but its not as annoying as it sounds. I mean, at times listening to him try to talk is a major indictment of the american education system when he was a kid in the 1940's. But Daves the best. The we have Ed something. Ed is essential to the show. His job is to play sound clips 3 seconds to late so it ruins one of the other guys jokes, make fairly obvious comments, and to display no enthusiasm what so ever. Really you get more excitement from a piece of plywood. I'm sure he has other responsibilites, I just have no idea what they are. But Ed whats his name is the best. Then you have Mr. Jonathon. Mr. J and Dave have something in common in that they are both DJ's. We know this because they mention it every other episode. They havent actually figured out how to work their music knowledge into the show, but its only 400 episodes. Give them some time. I mean seriously, why tell us? So you can tell us the best Prince album? (its purple rain, dont over think it) or the best Air Supply song? (no such thing as a good Air Supply song) or whether Genesis was better as a Prog Rock or Pop Music band? (I have no idea)? Moving on. Mr. J is a valuble contributor. His main role is to agree with the other guys, but tweak his response just enough to be annoying. So if you say the sky is blue, he will say its light blue with purple overtones. He also needs to complain. Like all the time. And have the last word. And he's unable to recognize a good idea when a listner sends it in. But Mr. Jonathon is the best. Last but not least is Barry. Barry is smart, cool, funny and doing these guys a favor working with them. Sometimes his jokes miss the target, like really miss the target, like you have to really work to even figure out it was supposed to be a joke. But it only happens once or twice an episode. And his opinion of The Godfather is slightly off. I mean, how do you get that wrong? The one thing everyone knows is... oh never mind. But Barry is the best. As you can tell I really love this mildly entertaining podcast and I know all of you will too.

If you love cigars and love being entertained, this is the podcast for you! And if I’ve learned anything, it’s to keep the lit end out of my mouth!!! Keep up the great work!!!

I'm a cigar lover in a state that it is hard to get cigars in (Utah with the exception to SLC). I enjoy the different types of cigars you try and for a live show, I have not heard such a clear quality of sound that you guys produce. I listen to you guys early in the morning at work, and it makes me want to break the rules and smoke one at work. That being said, you guys are the best experts I've ever heard. Keep up the good work.
