Dan and Frank prove that good people are good and bad people are bad whether or not they believe in God. Although we can hear the pain and disappointment and anger they feel about the damage some religious people do to others and the planet, they keep it cool without faking neutrality. That makes it easier to hear the awful news about religious hypocrisy, excesses and scary efforts to create a Christian theocracy in the US. Do these guys occasionally channel their frustration into quietly dark or disrespectful humor? Maybe a little - but I hear kind, fun people dealing with some heavy stuff the best they can without giving in to despair. Thanks for being there, and helping me do the same, you two.

I really appreciate y’all, you produce the only show I’m aware of that I can listen to with my kid (a godless and irreverent 12 year old) and we enjoy hearing you every week! Every time we hear “our lord and savior” we always giggle and whisper DAVIS, who even is this person? We hail from Kentucky, so the whole Mormon thing blows her mind.

This is my favorite podcast! The insights are intelligent and make me think about some things from a different viewpoint. Keep doing the lord's work!

That’s totally fine, kind of they were both the same age and I really didn’t want to be in that tent. But, my Mother reading the the Ceosswhite Christmas letter for like a lot of years, would probably be why I hate most major holidays. This is Your sister’s nephew. The one that hardly ever talked. Anywho, have a good one. P.S. I saw a guy that looked exactly like your father. Virgil, I had a decent one liner referencing the Devine comedy.

When Frank is gone you should bring Dans wife back on. She is so charming and should be your go to replacement if ever the boys are out.

I just want to thank you for being one of my highlights for the week. You two just make me laugh and brighten my day. I look forward to every episode. Thank you!

Yesterday I splurged for a 90 minute massage after 3 really intense work weeks and the massage therapist not only talked the whole time, but tried to talk me into Religion and particularly Jesus. I told her over and over Inam glad it works for her but I am an atheist, and that if I was to believe in God, I am Jewish and still wouldn't believe in Jesus. While I pointed out the illogical of all religions and asked her why she thinks people were praying in SC in A church and their God allowed Dylan Root to mass shoot them all, or at Tree of Life and god allowed them to be mass shot to death while in the act of praying, or recent school children in a Christian school and church mass shot while being good little stewards of God and praying to God, she continued to give me inane answers and just "there is a lesson there, we don't know what it is". I kept trying to shut down all conversations but no, she continued with how she has Jesus in her and I have Jesus in me, even though I told her if i did believe in god it would not be Jesus, it would be the jewish god. Sadly, like most religious people I know, they never seem to be very smart or capable of high level thinking. Thanks for this show. Massage less relaxing than I hoped and paid for. Good gravy - I don’t know if I can say how much of love this show. Two great people (as far as I can tell) who call out all the hateful, crappy, insane, junk given to us by religion. Guys - I can’t imagine I’ll be in Utah any time soon, but if I am, I hope to find you and buy you both a beverage of choice. Keep being awesome people.

Been listening to the show for a couple of months now. I love the dynamic between Frank & Dan. I’m listening to the most recent episode and it’s December 26. I’ve watched “A Christmas Story” yesterday and I’m realizing Dan sounds very similar to Jean Shepherd.

I love the way the guys just use the insanity from everyday news stories to show how critical thinking and atheism is truly the most reasonable way to live life. Sure do preciate ya!

I like this podcast but can’t help but become frustrated when they state things as “definite” or “fact” when they are often incorrect. Just because your dad was a bishop doesn’t mean you know all of the doctrine. There are Mormon beliefs that you guys deny are beliefs that are.

Another atheist podcast that is really just another wing of the extreme left. Not all atheists are ultra liberals!!!! Some are actually conservative or libertarian. The episode I listened to was supposed to be about Easter. I heard nothing about Easter. This podcast is terrible.
