    Badly dated…
1980s office culture guidance. Almost useless today.

The Actionable Items Business School Did Not Teach
Thank you to the entire Manager and Career Tools team! Your podcasts with actionable practices have greatly increased my management as well as leadership skills. Most business graduate programs lack the substance that you cover. Keep up the tremendous work!

    GameChanger
Truly impressive tutorials on managerial acumen. I have accomplished more using their guidance and model as a manager than I have ever accomplished using standard training courses and literature. A “one of a kind” resource that should be a “must have” for any serious manager at any level in any organization. As a government employee in the middle of my career, Manager Tools has been invaluable for me in cultivating relationships, increasing performance, creating an environment for effective communication, achieving results, and developing the next wave of good managers. Their focus on behaviors transcends traditional constructs and provides a blue print for true success at any level. While I will probably never meet Mark and Mike (or Mike and Mark), nor have the opportunity to work with them, they have become a part of my life and a part of my growth as a manager and as a person. Thank you for creating this and for all you have done for the career of Management.

This is the Hop on - hop off management cast...
Hop on when you need some guidance, hop off to practice, hop back on again! This cast alone has added so much to my ability to manage day to day tasks and get stuff done that I now have far fewer day to day tasks and less stuff to do. Just a question of priorities and listing to this cast is one of them!

Top of their game making us better players
Mark and Michael has revolutionized my teaching, and I cannot recommend this podcast enough. They have helped me manage my students (the Trinity), write cover letters, deal with disgruntled people, have a great resume, improve my recruiting skills and many more. They have made me productive professional and an effective manager/teacher. And in their great words "Yes Please! Thank you!"

    Best managment improvement podcast
This is by far the best business/management podcast I've ever happened upon. Each podcast outlines specific actions and behaviors to make you a more effective manager in the core areas a manager needs to go from "OK" to "Great." This is a great intro podcast to the full Manager Tools weekly podcast.

Great starting point in learning management
These guys know their stuff. They give simple, practical advice for the manager and the one who will soon be a manager. Their basic steps and advice get you started on the road to excellence in management. It isn't sexy or particularly exciting, except when you see it working. They teach that good management is repeating simple things over and over. They are so right. It isn't always easy, you just need to do it. This podcast gets you started.
