I listen to every episode. John is the only one I like, who is the best podcaster on the planet, but terribly unfunny on twitter. Jonah is as insufferable as the liberals he writes books about. And Rob reminds me of myself, who I hate.

My favorite political podcasters coming together to talk pop culture and current events. The best.

Spoiled frequent commercial interuptions, often cutting off a host mid-sentence. Sometimes less than 2 minutes between commercials, cutting hosts off mid-sentence. And these guys went to Yaleand University of Chicago? Maybe smart hosts, occasionally funny hosts, but light weight mayerial and high school drop out production values. In a universe of podcasts and a limited life span, skip it.

I became tired of Goldberg and Podhorivitz laughing at their own jokes. Rob Long is still entertaining so I just listen to a weekly podcast he has. Ten minutes of his observational humor and stories. Short but very good.

Both recorded ads (dropped in out of nowhere) AND 4 or 5 adverts read by the hosts? Give me a break, 20% of this podcast is advertisement.

The latest episode had a commercial literally about every 4-5 minutes and sometimes even less time in between them. It made it so unpleasant to listen to. But she’ll great show.

These guys are so much fun in how they poke each other on the current topics , as well as some of the look backs. I laugh out loud listening while doing yardwork. My neighbors must think I’m bonkers. So good

I enjoy listening to this monthly podcast and usually do not leave reviews until now. The McDonald’s case regarding the lady dropping coffee on her lap is one of the most misunderstood cases of all time. It takes about 5 minutes to read the case instead of live reading it and trying to make jokes about it to understand what really happened. This poor lady’s reputation has wrongly been made the butt of all jokes since the 90s. She never made any money from the case because she died before the verdict had been settled after McDonald’s appeal. In addition, she was originally only seeking costs for medical expenses, not multiple millions of dollars. McDonald’s is a multi billion dollar company that in the end became more popular and only had to pay about 15 minutes of its coffee sales in one day as retribution to their insanely hot coffee at the time.

Great change of pace in this polarized world. Makes me laugh and want more

I’ve become a Podhoretz fan as a follower of Commentary and was pleasantly surprised to find this show with him alongside Goldberg & Long. I love Goldberg’s laugh! These conversations are fun and interesting. Love it!

I’m a woman in her 60s and every time the boys devolve into 7th grade boys I laugh and laugh… like a 7th grade boy. It’s great. I did have to look up corn hole when it made its debut a few years ago. The more ya learn…

When it comes to pop culture, what Pod doesn’t know isn’t worth podcasting. Goldberg is solid gold. Rob is long on witty repartee.

Remember when there used to be this cool podcast with endless pithy remarks from John, Rob and Jonah? Those were good times!

You know the “if you could have dinner with any three people…” game. The best bang for your buck would be putting on the napkin with the title characters of GLoP. Their wisdom, sense of fun, and knowledge of the arcane makes this, without question, the best podcast in the world. I’m not a big talker, and would not likely get a word in edgewise. So forget dinner, and sit down for the best listen around.

These guys obviously enjoy each other’s company and it comes through loud and clear! Plus , as I retreat from the daily darkening of today’s culture (crushing morosity , I know) , these help keep me somewhat current!

Hilarious, hilarious… Get to the Ordinary People part for a great giggle…

Absolutely love this podcast and have been listening for years. But please go back to recording twice a month, or simply record even longer episodes!

I love it! Jonah has become the new Abe Greenwald, as John monopolizes the conversation!

If laughter is the best medicine, this podcast should be prescribed for all ailments.

Feels less like a podcast, and more like a conversation with friends while sitting around a table at the pub. As a conservative, middle aged, white male, it hits all the sweet spots. One the favs in my playlist.

Can’t recommend highly enough; each host is funnier than the next. Rob’s stories and John’s rants are highlights - though John’s story about being with a group interviewing Biden is a classic.

The only time he brings life to a conversation is when they’re discussing old movies and tv shows. He’s a complete drag on all other subjects. It’s so annoying. The 5 stars are for John and Jonah. The podcast would be better if the two of them replaced Rob with a different old pal. Rob needs to go on a years-long retreat to find whatever happiness he lost 30 years ago.

These guys and their tangents never disappoint. Loved this weeks tribute to Lucianne. I almost bought a pack of cigarettes to celebrate her!

… I think you pretty badly mischaracterize Bing Crosby. Based on Gary Giddins’ two volume (so far) biography, though he was no saint in his early years he was formed by his Jesuit education, and his devotion to the GIs during WWII alone (often performing dangerously near the front lines) may be sufficient to merit absolution.

Love this podcast!!! It’s like overhearing goofy friends at a bar talking about anything. interesting and funny. I love hearing Jonah and Rob poke fun at John for talking over his Commentary team. And John is just fun and funny. PLEASE - more frequent podcasts!!!

I wish this podcast was twice a month instead of once a month. It’s the very best one. Please do it more often.

Love the focus on pop culture. They play off each other well. Love it that it can incorporate things as Diverse as Odd Couple tv show to contemporary Movies. Maybe John should add some more sport into the culture debates!

One of my favorites to listen to over a good cigar. Fun banter, trivial but in the best of ways, a nice break from the constant gloominess of politics.
