    Glittering Mountains of Knowledge
I really love this show. As a sound artist/improvising musician attempting to transition into working in sound for other media, this podcast has been a true education, as well as a source of great pleasure. The podcast has been a balm for troubled ears, especially during this pandemic, as I am currently working overnight at a grocery store, and am doing a deep dive into the show's archives via headphones while stocking shelves (there is plenty of toilet roll, you needn't worry, it arrives nightly). Anyone need any grocery store ambiances? Hit me up! (Just kidding, all you'd hear is the sound of competing bluetooth speakers declaring the varied tastes of my co-workers). Many, many thanks to the hosts, Teresa, Timothy, and Rene for their hardwork and generosity, I owe them the equivalent of university tuition. I'll temper my praise with a slight criticism, just to prove my sincerity in what otherwise is intended as a glowing review: the bit in the intro where the women says "Let's do this," well, it kinda creeps me out, it's like sound design podcast as "jock-jam." Though that's just these ears, excellent work y'all, and thanks again.

    Lots of insights
A lot of audio production podcasts are chitchat about gear. This one has that, but it also goes deep into the creative process, and those are the kinds of questions I ask a sound designer when I get one in a room.

    I've Found a Home!
I've just started "collecting sounds" and have learned that makes me a "field recordist". It's very comforting to find a communitty of folks with the same offbeat proclivity. I'm downloading all episodes back to No, 1.

I think it was designed for me
These guys are everything that I would hope to have in a podcast. Intelligent, knowledgeable, precise and fun. While not really scripted, the episodes are thoughtfully put together with absolutely no fluff. Content heavy. I am primarily an acoustic musician who is venturing into sound design and manipulation and could not have asked for anything better. it's just off center for me which is great because it shows me what I don't know and that is valuable! Keep it up boys!!

    Sound Advice
I have been looking for a show like this for a couple of years now. There are very few sound oriented podcasts out there but the creators of Tonebenders haven't used that as an excuse to put out a sub-par show in the knowledge that sound junkies like I would tune in regardless. Instead it's a top quality show with great content delivered by passionate and knowledgeable individuals. Excellent guests, interviews, features and interaction with listeners make this top of list on recommendations.

    great guys, informative, entertaining
Three fairly heavy hitters in the sound community can't go wrong when they get together to talk about what they love. Dustin, Tim and Rene go through all manner of sound design and field recording, and the pacing is excellent.
