I am a long term listener from back when it was called Unpopular Opinion. I used to enjoy the show a lot and loved the guest hosts and the discussions. The episodes about SoundCloud rap, dentists, and other topics were hilarious but also funny. The podcast is now a sad shadow of what it once was and allows wayyyyy too many uninformed and incorrect statements to go unchecked especially with politics. I hear so many ridiculous claims each episode surrounded by Jeff and Adam just “yep”ing each other and bringing up the same points they did the last 50 episodes. They’ve run out of good content. Also we get it! You don’t like Biden. But to blame Biden for Roe V Wade being overturned or to neglect the Supreme Court ruling on the student loans is just being willfully ignorant. Calling Kamala a cop when she was a prosecutor and acting like she’s the face of police brutality is just weird. They want to be weirdly contrarian but they’re now being cranks and quacks.

Listen to a few episodes. The rapport between host and guess goes pretty smoothly, but the topics can go off on a tangent quite often. I enjoy humor, but it seems to be often at the expense of others. Probably an acquired taste.

That JAT jar bit was the deadest horse that has ever been beaten, hardest time I ever had getting through an episode. Also Adam please start hitting people with “citation needed” again cause there’s been a loooot of “I can’t remember where I heard this but [borderline slander]” lately.

Adam always does great research and has guests who are entertaining and able to contribute to the topic being discussed.

You guys rock, come to Japan and hang out

It’s true! I like it and I bet you will, too! Whether they’re right or wrong, they make thought provoking and funny points about the best topics. Fine. They’re also *usually* right.

Its the same as the old pod, which is great because the old pod was my favorite of all time. Adam can’t make a bad pod.

ATB and Jeff May are two of the funniest people working in comedy and comedy-adjacent entertainment today. Yesterday too, and probably tomorrow. I’ve been a longtime fan of them both. They are severely, criminally even, underrated. This has been a great show for close to a decade and I think it’ll be even better under the new branding. I am not just saying all this because ATB is a fellow Ohtani fan.

Been a fan of Adam since the cracked days. Kinda feels like an old friend at this point. He always has interesting and thoughtful opinions, even if they are unpopular.

Adam is a fantastic host and always finds ways to bring interesting points into conversations I hadn’t even considered. Listen to a few eps and you’ll become a convert.

This show rules and the new name is great. Thanks for a decade of top notch shows.

I have been a long time listener, and just wanted to add here how great this show is. Adam and Jeff are great hosts, and the topics are always well thought out and great to listen to.

I’ve really tried with this but honestly, it’s only moderately funny and moderately compelling and I write that as someone who largely agrees with the takes. I’m not really bored enough to listen with regularity. It’s not offensive or anything, just meh. I feel like I know about 20 people I’d rather listen to talk and they won’t make flat attempts at largely played-out comedy banter. I’m glad they’re finding a way to make money. I just don’t think this is for me.

This show is great on its own, and it’s the tip of the iceberg. Go check out all the Unpops podcasts, there’s something for everybody.

Been a loyal fan of this podcast since it started waaaay back in the days of Cracked.com Pleased to say that it never gets old and the the banter between Adam and Jeff always makes me giggle. I’m supporting the podcast network via supercast even though there’s not enough time in my day to listen to everything on the network. There’s a ton of content. My only complaint is that Adam and Jeff don’t even like sports.

Yeah, I know they’re trying to be stupid but just plain nonsense isn’t really comedy.

I’m one episode in giggling like a tickled child. “Sure son look there’s a UFO” Stove top I’m staying.

You find this podcast and it’s great. Good laughs with good, deeply researched info. Then you hear Adam talk about a subject you know well and how much he gets wrong. You brush it off. Then it happens again with something else and the facade cracks. You wonder what else he researched that he doesn’t really know about. Then you wonder why you listen. Turns out it’s just for the jokes, but now they aren’t enough to keep you coming back.

Love this podcast! Jacques is such a breath of fresh air. Each episode has interesting and provocative conversations with amazing guests. Thank you Jacques for bringing your authentic and unique self to my ears each week!

The only problem I have is that I heard Adam doesn’t even like sports.

Jeff May makes me laugh every time. Every time! I honestly listen after reading the news and it makes me feel better. I love how casual they are with each other but honestly you can tell they are so very smart because they can deliver these ideas in such a light way to you. I’ve been making time to listen more, I’m hooked.

Jeff May and Chet Wild are Gods gift to Podcasting. It’s a shame I’m an atheist. No matter how bad the world gets I can always count on Jeff starting an anecdote with “I was out running” and Chet having no idea what the topic of conversation is supposed to be. Keep up the good work

Love love love the Unpops channel. Guaranteed a giggle at minimum (usually episodes w kaitlyn Cooke) to releasing empty-ketchup-bottle sounding flatulence from the center of my gall bladder from laughing so SO hard. I do have 2 things I wanna bring up: First) please bring The 90’s Sucked. Its just a good, lite podcast to get away from the world for an hour or so. Second). On Unpopular Opinion, I would love for ATB and Chet to revisit the episode ‘The Future is Streaming’ from June 2019 and see if some of their (political) opinions have evolved. When you hear it you’ll know what I’m talking about. Love y’all and HMU when your single!! Any of yas-I stopped being picky a long time ago!💋

This podcast lacks true intellectual substance. The speakers try to talk about big ideas but they never get to them. This podcast is simply an unorganized stream of consciousness. Their “research” is just reading the top articles a Google search provides. Also, any idea that they don’t agree with is quickly labeled fascist which is fascist itself. Listen to this podcast if you need a thought silo to comfort your political ideology.

ATB has always been one of my favorite podcasters! I love Unpops!

He’s pretty amaz...short for amazing saves me time when I’m talking

I’ve listened to ATB since his days at Cracked and he’s probably one of the most talented podcaster today. So why only two stars? Unfortunately the podcasts, whether the topic is political or not, tend to death-spiral into paranoid rants about how evil white people and conservatives are the root of absolutely every single problem the world has seen past or present. I guess if overt racism and Marxism are your thing then these podcasts may be exactly what you’re looking for, but it you’re just wanting to be entertained and maybe learn something in the process, that ship has sailed. I’ve listened to him for about a decade but I sadly had to finally give him up. If he ever finds a way to separate his crazy political extremism from his other podcasts I’ll be back onboard in a heartbeat.

Favorite pod, favorite hosts, favorite topics. ATB is the hardest working man in the podcast business. I appreciate you!

One of the funniest podcast on this app, underrated as hell and deserves more hype. Adam invites a litany of some of the funniest comics around. Definitely give it a listen if you like pseudo-critical dives into pop culture/ politics.

This show is the gift that keeps giving. Adam Tod Brown’s revolving cast of comedians and interesting guests always keep the bits fresh. Hit it Brett!

The political discussions are as entertaining as the guests are informed. Sometimes I actually learn something and laugh in the process...other times it’s like listening to the dumbest Facebook political posts come alive. Really hit or miss.

My name is also Adam, that alone should tell you how good this show is!

A show based on unpopular opinions could really get condescending pretty easy, but Adam is really great at presenting thing is a resonable and thought out way a that actually makes you re-evaluate things. Also, solid batting average on political predictions (nailed everything about Trump from jump street). Good guests.

Nothing makes me happier than Jeff May back on the pod.

I've been a loyal listener for years and honestly feel that I am a better person for it. Listening to people I like, defending all sorts of crazy opinions has made me a more critical thinker. It's tons of fun and the amazing reoccuring guests give a real "chatting with friends" vibe that make me truly interested in hearing their (often controversial) thoughts on topics big and small. I am always interested in ATB's take and seek out all his other creations, including being a subscriber on Patreon!

Adams always got something interesting to say in a hilarious way. He catches stories that fall through the crack just like Lewis Blacks’ “Back in Black”. He’s got classic bits with great music and sounds. On top of that, he called the Trump presidential nomination back when everyone thought it was crazy. Way to go on the network and connecting with great guests and cohosts!
