Cover so many topics that are near and near to my heart. As a Christian parent, I’m trying to do my best and this podcast has a lot of great resources.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom and encouraging us homeschool moms. You help to keep me moving forward on God’s path for our family!

Here I am correcting my rating to five stars! Thank you very much for fixing this, so I can be informed and encouraged without being bombarded by garbage ads. (Previous review from 7/15/2024 below:) I really wish I could give this podcast five stars because I love the truthful content. However, I don’t understand the ads - from McDonalds to Meta AI, why are these the ads of this podcast? I listen to numerous other podcasts daily while my kids nap and I do dishes and laundry. None of them have ads from companies sponsoring their podcast that don’t align with their preaching. I understand the income piece, but it seems like a sacrifice to me. Hope it can be corrected and I will gladly correct my rating!

I want to be “in the know” about the important things going on in our culture and our world today, but it can be so easy to become overwhelmed, anxious, and discouraged following the news. Heidi does a fantastic job addressing current events while remaining anchored to Christ and his word! Whenever I listen, I feel informed and so encouraged ❤️

Been following Heidi St John for years! I love her all around topics. Homeschooling & Government being my favorite.

Heidi is right on target about homeschooling and liberty issues Her blindspot is in conflating the biblical Israel w/the current political state of Israel. Dispensationalism is a false doctrine and has no place in Christianity.

Heidi, I love you! I first saw you on Facebook sometime during the lockdowns I think and eventually ended up listening to your podcast. I almost always come away encouraged. Definitely feeling emboldened. I love when you share truth in the Word with us. Thanks so much, Heidi!

This lady is not following Christ and doesn’t know the truth of Jesus. This is Christian Nationalism and not Christianity.

Too concerned about politics and giving the world a bad example of what christianity truly means. Follow Jesus not false idols.

Update: Even though Heidi is dispensational in her eschatology, I STILL LOVE HER!!! She understands the issues of our day and she is DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I pray EVERYONE who calls on the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, will STUDY GOD’s WORD & be students ready to answer for the faith that we have!!! Guess what!? In case you haven’t noticed, we are living through a war! We know the two sides: truth vs. lies; good vs. evil. In order that we might not not live by lies, it is essential that we enter our days with eyes wide open to the truth! In this podcast, Heidi helps us do that, with God’s Holy Word as our guide! Heidi (and I) love Jesus Christ with all our heart, soul, and mind! I thank God for Heidi St. John! She has also helped me personally in very significant areas of my homeschool journey! For example, if it wasn’t for the “Five in a Row” curriculum recommendation she gave at the end of last school year, I might have given up. ;) Her podcast was the very first one I ever subscribed to and it is the ONLY one I listen to every day! I became a mother 10 months ago and though I have been a believer myself since I was a young girl, I have a new burning desire to train up my daughter in truth in the troubling times we live in! You have confirmed my hopes to homeschool and truly help point me back to God’s word, our ultimate guidebook! You are truly an inspiration and I pray to come across more like-minded mothers and families!

Your episodes on libraries are particularly egregious and full of outright lies. This podcast exemplifies “there is no love like Christian hate.” This is why people are leaving the church in record numbers. Enjoy your hate filled echo chamber

Just found Heidi’s podcast and have really enjoyed it! Encouraging, relevant, and truth-filled!

God so loved the world, and we are now His representatives. It’s not loving to belittle and call people names. You can’t separate truth and love, scripture connects those frequently. This sort of anger and finger pointing will only run off the people we are commissioned to lead to Christ. This is exactly what satan wants and is corrupting Christian communities. Please don’t justify and encourage it!

I found Heidi recently being interviewed on someone’s podcast. I started to listen to this podcast and am hooked. I love her honest but kind opinions and how much she points us to God and the Bible.

Love Heidi’s straightforward words of encouragement brought forth in truth and love. It is helpful to hear that others are thinking and struggling in the same way, and I love the constant reminders of what God says about each issue. Heidi does well to speak to issues thoughtfully, truthfully and articulately.

Heidi’s show is encouraging for moms, homeschooling families, and pretty much everyone who is seeking a truthful podcast in this crazy culture.

Most mornings I kick off with a little exercise and Heidi’s current events. Interestingly, I lived in the greater PDX area, served in full time ministry, but never knew of her, until we moved to Texas and started homeschooling. 🤷‍♂️I highly recommend this podcast as a homeschool DAD!

I enjoy listening to Heidi share her heart on current topics while point back to God and Scripture. She’s right when she says, “I think you’re going to be encouraged.” Thanks for all you do Heidi! ❤️

I started following Heidi three years ago while I was living in Oregon, and we were at the height of Rona tyranny. Since that time, she has reported on the good and ugly in culture. But she always brings us back to Scripture and the authority of God’s Word. You won’t “be encouraged” to frolick carefree with butterflies. But you will be encouraged, like I have, to speak at local School Board meetings, email and call your representatives, post and speak out on social media, and build new friendships with other Patriot Parents. I am a conservative southern mom who tuned in for family and faith talk but I am shocked at the pent up political hatred spewed. Completely unchristian or helpful. Have unfollowed.

I have listened off and on for a few years and am always encouraged to find another Christian speaking the truth, no matter how unpopular it may be. Gods word and truth does not change. There is no “my truth” and “your truth.” It is truth, period. Heidi delivers it with courage and compassion, which spurs me on to do the same. Thank you, Heidi!!!

Heidi is doing excellent work tackling the topics that we aren’t supposed to speak up on today. Darkness will not win in the end and it will only be able to temporarily overtake the light if the light hides in the corners. Heidi is not hiding. She’s a ray of light in our dark culture.

I’ve been listening to Heidi since a friend suggested I read her book Becoming Mom Strong. I love her tenacity and passion. Basically I wanna be her when I grow up! 😎 She inspires and gives practical advice. Not a common thing to find both inspiration and action in the same podcast! Thanks Heidi- for your example and your willingness to use your gifts for Jesus and His Kingdom!

If you can’t make your point without lying, perhaps you should reconsider your point. Heidi makes an example of the affirming videos available on YouTube’s child-friendly platform and then plays a completely unrelated video about “minor-attracted people” as though anyone feels that it’s appropriate. No “woke corporations,” schools, or librarians are condoning pedophilia, and conflating it with consenting adults in loving relationships that you don’t personally approve of is disingenuous hate speech.

I’m one of her original listeners. Her podcast is based on truth and getting back to the basics of education, family, faith and health!

Wow!!! Heidi is amazing and well knowledgeable for many topics. I am praying my spirit will be lit on fire for my family and kids and friends. This is a MUST for anyone!

I read Heidi‘s book years ago, but only this past year found her podcast. All I can say as WOW! The passion she speaks with, as well as being grounded in biblical truth so refreshing. If you are a mom, scratch that, if you are a Christian, you need to listen to this podcast and let it encourage you to be equipped in God’s word. Get ready to get “off the bench” and stand up for truth!

I listened to the podcast about school and it was okay, but every podcast seems the same. A lot of hatefulness and nothing loving or Christ like. I also hate how she puts down working moms, like they are working to be able to drive nice cars, have nice homes and afford Starbucks. Not every working mom can afford those things. Some of them have to work because they won’t make it on one income. It’s hateful. I’ve heard a handful of her podcast and never feel encouraged. There are better, actually biblical podcast. I don’t recommend this one.

I so appreciate Heidi! I have listened to others but none have compared to her. She is a strong loving Christian woman. Yet she is strong and speaks out about things in the world (I say this because many believe if you’re a Christian you should be quiet and in the background). She explains her opinions and beliefs with common sense and logic not emotion or anger. She’s not here to just yell and get worked up, but to educate and lead people on the narrow path that is based in biblical and Godly wisdom. Thank you Heidi!!!
