    A retro weeb dream!
Do you like forgotten, obscure, retro, or old media? Check! Are you an Otaku, and love anime and manga? Check! Do you love finding lost gems? Check! Each episode the host goes into detail on titles that would be forgotten to newer generation of anime fans. It’s easy to see the hosts love for these titles, and I have yet to finish an episode without thinking “man, I really want to watch/read that!

A space for fun nostalgia and in-depth nerdism
As someone who’s been into Manga and anime since the 90’s, it gets hard for em to get into the new Titles and media. Media that refuses to adjust to the current progress, media that sticks harmfully to it guns to minority representation and issues. It honestly disheartening and keeps me holed up in hope of re-release and remaster of older titles. This Podcast, rejuvenated my interest in the medium. The recommendations, the analysis, and the sheer fun presentation and love for Manga and anime is refreshing. And quite honestly, excuse the boldness, I’m tired of Male centric views and opinions regarding manga and anime aimed at women and minorities, and their entitlement in thinking their opinion is above correcting or reversing. Therefore, if you’re like me, and you want to spend time after a long office day job to Someone who is knowledgeable and sincere in their love for nostalgia and the medium, you’re in the right podcast. Go Bunny! You got it girl!

    Such a fun podcast
I definitely recommend listening to Anime Nostalgia podcast 😊 it’s really good. I listened to the episodes on Maison Ikkoku and Toei’s The Little Mermaid so far. There is an episode about Unico on the way that I am really excited for. If you love older anime or just love learning about anime history it’s a great podcast to listen to.

    Easily the best anime podcast
    Exactly like the title says.

    Loving it so far!
I just got sucked in thanks to the Urusei Yatsura episode. I love it! My only issue is I would love to be able to see at least a title for each episode. I listen to podcasts on the way to work, so I usually quickly select an episode title that sounds good before I start my 35 - 40 minute commute. I don’t really have time to go to a blog post, search for the episode number and read a description.

    Extremely poor audio quality
I would love the content of this podcast but the audio quality is unlistenable. There is constant clipping when the host talks too loudly, so there is a ton of loud static in the audio. I listened to 3 eps and they’re all like this. This is such an easy problem to fix, I’m amazed it’s so prominent in a podcast going 60+ episodes. A real shame.

A lovely trip down memory lane
Being an 80s kid and growing watching anime shows from the 70s, 80s and 90s the anime shows from era will always hold a special place in my heart. And this podcast shares you with their intelligent opinion on those shows and how they hold up today and their experience with them as they also are fans who grew up with them. There are some very resourceful information on this podcast from the host (Dawn) and her intelligent guests that you will find very entertaining to listen to whether you are a fan who grew up or interested in those shows, or simply you are looking to check them for the first time.

    Boring
This podcast has failed the most basic rule of entertainment; it’s boring. The host is uninteresting, the subject is bland, and the content is not discussed. It is robotically read from a script as if I am listening to some random blog post. To improve this podcast the host needs to improve her cadence and presentation, and introduce a good co-host who she can easily bounce off of in conversation.

A complete throwback in all the good ways
If you're looking to get an in-depth look at older anime titles and the people who love them, this is the place to go. The host is fun and entertaining and her guests are usually just as well-informed as Usamimi. Check out Anime Nostalgia to revisit your favorites from yesteryear.

    Quality podcast with charm
Likable host and guests by and large, and considering this is the only podcast of it's kind, it's actually quite good. Definitely rough around the edges like ye podcasts of old, but that's part of the charm. If you like older anime you'll find a lot to love here. I would recommend skipping any "re-view" episodes if you care about spoilers though.

    Charming and Relatable
For anyone who grew up in the age of Voltron, Robotech and DiC dubs of Sailor Moon, this podcast is definitely for you. It’s so great to reminisce about the days of scrounging for fansubs and watching any anime that aired on TV ever, simply because it was there. Usamimi speaks volumes to a generation of, shall we say, slightly more mature anime fans, and is absolutely delightful to listen to. Her knowledge of and passion for anime are extremely apparent!

    A Gem of a podcast
This podcast was a great find when searching for nostalgia. Host Usamimi has an obvious respect for anime and its fans by giving overviews worth listening to. I agree with Dan who wrote her voice is very beautiful and draws you into the conversations oddly enough. listened to pretty much every episode and look forward to more. Definitely worth the time.

    As good as podcasts get.
Smart, mature, and focused. Knowledgable hostess Usamimi does her homework and puts each reviewed anime in historical context, with overviews of the creative team and related works. Her beautiful voice doesn't hurt things. On par with Anime World Order.

One of the best anime podcasts I've ever listened to
Looking for an anime podcast that isn't run by bumbling 15 year olds or snarky fanboys? This is for you. The discussion on this show is in-depth and intelligent, the host is articulate and likeable (no bad jokes or smugness to be had), and her guests offer insightful commentary on their various topics. You can tell everyone on this show is a true anime fan, but they aren't blinded by their fandom as so many other hosts tend to be. Additionally, the retrospective on older anime is refreshing, as there are no lack of other podcasts reviewing the latest from Japan. The hosts discuss anime like adults and I would put this podcast's level of professionalism up there with others like the Anime World Order, which is the highest compliment I can offer. It's just so rare to find such a great combination of all the qualities I look for in a podcast; this is a must listen for all anime fans.
