Each episode we’ll be digging into an investigative scoop- hearing from the journalists behind the work as they tell us about the leads, the dead-ends and of course, the tip offs. There’ll be car chases, slammed doors, terrorist cells, meetings in dimly lit bars and cafes, wrangling with despotic regimes and much more. Fantastic journalism podcast

Excellent podcast for journalists and the public alike. If you want to go behind the scenes and learn how reporters get leads, talk to sources and produce their stories, this is it. Host is based in England with many of the episodes occuring in the USA too. My favorites episodes are: Ep. 29 Proof with CNN correspondent Ashley Fantz about the destruction of rape kits as police evidence, and Ep. 17 with Ken Armstrong and T. Christian Miller and their investigative reporting that has lead to the Netflix Special "Unbelievable." Highly recommended!! (I am a journalist)

Addictive peak into world of investigative journalism

I randomly rumbled upon this podcast and got hooked. Each episode takes you behind the scenes of investigative reporting, with a wonky appreciation for "how did they pull that story off." The host is charming and has a way of translating complicated (and often dark) stories into captivating episodes.
