I’ve been listening to Tony for decades thanks to my Dad listening to him as I was growing up but now listen to every show thanks to the podcast. There is no better place for UT sports talk than the TB network. I’m a UT grad living in KY and listening to the show makes me feel closer to home. He’s as much of a tradition for me as Rocky Top and running through the T.

I love Tony but the constant “sky is falling” attitude of the cohosts is beyond tired. And the perpetual backhanded, passive aggressive jabs at players and coaches gets old. Tony and co refuse to believe the team is good and the coaches are smart. It’s just exhausting listening to constant bickering and complaining. And no, I’m not a sheep who needs to be coddled. But a little bit of catching your breath once in a while would go a long way.

Is struggling for interaction…. Uncle Danny has better insight into college athletics than this gentleman. Check out Uncle Danny’s Grilled Cheese.

I love the Tony B. show. Watson Brown is a treasure, the only reason I rated this as a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the propensity to “chase rabbits” with callers like Titans Bill. I may be in the minority, but personally I tune out while that clown is talking. He needs to find a Tennessee Titans call in show and leave the Tennessee Volunteers show alone!!!

Tony is an institution. I get sad thinking of a future football season without his presence. His show is just as much a fabric of the vol experience as any on the field legends, or traditions like the vol walk, running through the T, the checkerboard end zones, Smokey, and Basilio and Beano.

Yes this is a Vols sports talk radio show and it’s amazing. But this show is more than that when you listen to it. This show embodies all the things that make the state of TN great. As an outsider who just moved to TN from FL and as a new Vol fan I’ve been surprised, moved, and blessed by the cast of characters that make up this show and the callers that call in. I don’t know if Tony and the Basilio Show family really understand how special this show is. I’ve listened to all sorts of sports shows and never have I experienced such a great sense of community and belonging. Recently a beloved caller passed away too soon. This show spent an entire episode honoring him and his legacy. I never met the man but I felt like I knew him and was so moved by all those who wanted to share their stories about Roger. I am so thankful to have found this show. A show that values faith, family, community, genuine kindness and love, and the Vols. This show and all the callers involved make this show so precious

This is an amazing show to listen too when looking for a show about Tennessee football and and athletics. Talks straight forward about UT and let’s you know the inside story that you won’t find on any of the other “corporate” shows.

The host of this podcast is delusional in his rhetoric that he and his “guests” spout which are really just his lackey friends. To say this show is held together with baling wire would be a kindness. Technology challenged with dropouts and over talk every show. Mostly an internet show but there is an affiliation with a gospel station locally but you can’t actually find them on the terrestrial radio, believe me, I’ve tried. Content is supposed to be focused on University of Tennessee sports but they talk about Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, and Ole Miss so much, you’re not sure who the audience is supposed to be. Would not recommend.

Basilio is the greatest talk-show host in the world. If you don’t listen, you need to! A++ brudder!

Tony is no punk or clown. And even if he is, he’s ours. Best Tennessee radio show by far. Except when they talk about baseball - during the dead season when no other sports are on.
