caninedaleAlways fun timesIt’s always fun hearing Ted’s take one events and rides he does. Not the typical paid participation synopsis of many riders who have nothing but praises for all events endorsing them. Life isn’t always perfect and Ted doesn’t flinch telling you how it is when needed. All of this spackled together with a healthy dose of untapped goodness.
-
Squizzle9875 out of 5Insightful conversation, fun guests, quick witted, and all around a great podcast. Really enjoyed the Bond Almand episode.
-
onmyR3Melisa RollinsWhat an interview! Her story is as unbelievable as is her speed to the top of the sport - all with a big dose of humility and an ability to laugh about the craziness of it all. Worth two listens.
-
KimcorkGreat to hear Derek TeelI always listen to King of the Ride and love the interviews, but this one was special. I “discovered “ Derek Teel on a podcast just before his accident and immediately added his content. I was horrified with his accident, along with everyone else he had touched. Thank you Ted for having Derek on so we could hear how he’s doing.
-
RunbikeclimbGreat conversational interviewsTop tier show. Great work - looking forward to all of the new episodes
-
UllrsonJust discovered “King of the Ride” - Great podI especially enjoyed Ted’s interviews with Derek Teen (I actually joined Dialed Health based on the interview) and Alexy Vermeulen. Alexy’s commitment to service is something we should all cultivate.

13_babyAwesome cycling interview!I love Ted, the guests he has on, and the conversations they share! Thanks for the great content!
-
@RealShereeContent Great—All the Mic Breathing Is Stressful!Discovered this podcast a few months ago and I’ve enjoyed having great episodes of content and a back catalog to catch up on. But please, Ted and guests, y’all do something about the breathing and sighing in the mics. I can’t tell if it’s Wim Hof breathing exercises, Darth Vader running the the sound board, or just worldly fatigue of guests.
-
Luke ShredwalkerThanks TedI really enjoy the podcast topics, guests, and perspectives. This show makes metro Detroit construction traffic enjoyable! Keep up the great work.
-
Bret285👍I enjoy it. Ted is so well spoken.
-
pedalmikeThoughtful ConversationsI enjoy just about all of Ted’s podcasts. I think most of his guests get comfortable enough with Ted’s interviewing style that they usually open up and show us a bit of themselves. I’m curious where this whole gravel pro thing goes over time. When you are not winning races, can you stay relevant enough with fans and followers to justify the sponsorships you have secured? How do you balance race prep with being an ambassador and an influencer? Can you make enough of a living at it to provide a secure future for you and your family? Seems like Ted and a number of his colleagues are figuring all of that out. I thought Alexey Vermuelen was pretty candid about his position in this space, and he’s thinking about everything I’ve mentioned above…all at a relatively young age.
-
Rob RiggFun and Thoughtful Discussions on the Gravel lifeTed is a phenomenal human and his intelligence, thoughtfulness and passion for the bike and the rapidly evolving world of gravel leads to very interesting conversations with a solid line up of guests. A great pod and well worth a listen if you are engaged in the gravel cycling world.
-
TedDen87I love TedI’m Ted. I am not Ted King. I love listening to Ted’s insightful and intelligent conversations about the cycling world with other very intelligent members of the community. I feel like I’m getting special access into the sport that otherwise would only be available to those who are at the top of the sport. Thank you for making it accessible for all Ted.
-
crashhopperMy favorite cycling podcastTed is a great interviewer, always entertaining, and every episode leaves me inspired and enjoying my ride even more.
-
jlicupSarah Sturm interview was awesome!Ted, great job with the Sarah Sturm interview! What a great conversation between two really awesome people. Keep these coming!
-
coliver18Intelligent and chill endurance adventureThe title pretty much sums it up. Ted’s a natural at pulling great info and anecdotes from his guests. He’s laid back but is smart as a whip and that combo works for perfectly for a cycling podcast. My only complaint is he rides so much there’s no time for weekly episodes.
-
khaven5200King of the rideI absolutely love the podcast and find that Ted king is a great interviewer. The one thing that comes through in all of the interviews is the love of riding bikes no matter what type you are doing
-
Joshua MonteithEasy listeningTed and his guests have the greatest mood and tone. This is your tempo rides best friend and after a few episodes it really grows on you and converts you into a lifelong fan.
-
mmwagsDoing things rightRebecca Rusch told Ted he has been the only Rodie she has met that she likes. He’s funny, humble and seems to be doing things right as a fantastic representative of all good about cycling. Refreshing. Untapped, race promotion, podcasting, video the guys busy and seems to be able to be to be himself. Keep it up
-
LauraFierceMommaRefreshingJust listen to Jack—can’t wait to see his videos. I think it’s so great, Ted how you approached his mental health illness topics with such empathy and curiosity. This world needs More people like you. Your podcast is refreshing from typical cyclist-centric podcasts. I’m totally enjoying it. And oh, by the way your persona on Podcasts is so much different than I thought you’d be. Keep up the good work!
-
Mark McGrawGreat cycling podLoved ep.70 with Jack the ultracyclist. Great discussion driven by thoughtful questions about mental health.
-
DhhdfsehnicdrutenjiwdhjiSmooth enjoyable pod. Solid info.Listening to (paraphrase) “riding in the cold” was enjoyable on today’s cool January ride.
-

-
tofu-666An audio beam of lightAlways positive, informative and motivating. This pod is pretty great company during these lonely times. Thanks so much Ted (and Laura, love the ones with both of you)!
-
jarod waiteA must listen.Ted is not only a great ambassador of the sport, but a great host and interviewer. Love listening while I ride for extra motivation.
-
Finnthehumanboy jkjSo goodHonestly it’s such a good podcast, just nice to listen to.
-
Ace intheWholeEpisode 63 Jess CerraGreat interview, to show anyone that they can accomplish way more than they think they are capable of. “Sometimes the biggest finish line you cross, is just making it to the starting line”. Jess Cerra. She walks the walk, and rides the ride! Highly recommend this episode. Thanks, Ted King👑

seaottersGreat listen when you need a mental breakTed is so easy to listen to and such an amazing story teller. I would love for he and his wife to do more podcast together. When ever I am doing a long chill ride I love listening to Ted.

-
Ja762AwesomeLove it. Nothing better through the winter than hanging in the garage working on my bike and listening to Ted. Thanks a lot!
-
PedroGringoGreat guests, Great interviewerThank you! Consistently great guests and you go good places with them. I look forward to every episode.
-
davinmichaelEnjoyable, intelligent, but stop being unwilling to critique the government’s response to COVID19But I have one critique: so many podcasts, particularly cycling related, are unwilling to present even a mild critique of Donald’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis, & end up doing a really awkward dance around the issue. So far, the last three episodes of this show have done exactly that. If folks are unwilling to hear the truth or listen to viewpoints that might not perfectly align with their myopic version of reality, then they should not be listening to media. But please, stop neutering an open discussion of the topic because of a few hyper-sensitive people.
-
mbo108My quarantine addictionCame to this podcast recently and have been ripping through them Full Gas. Love the variety of guests Ted interviews, the casual feel which makes the listener feel like he’s on the inside. Have been recommending it to all my stuck-inside cycling friends.
-
Garland_BrentGreat Podcast until he got political in episode 57This is a good podcast. His guest just ran it off the rails in episode 57 and went very political around how countries are handling the response to Covid-19. If he could keep it bike and bike lifestyle it would be a 5 star for sure.
-
shckimmelAwesome listen, no matter the guestI’m a triathlete myself and road cycling fan. I just got into gravel since I live a stone’s throw from the Flint Hills and this podcast helps fuel my passion for cycling and searching for new roads. I love the content and the guests!
-
Take it like a manInsightful and down to earthThis is an insightful podcast of cyclists. I love the many guests Ted interviews!
-
DiorcherieTerrific podcast for anyone who likes bikesTed's podcast is really good for a number of reasons: 1. Consisitently interesting guests who have something to say 2. Ted asks questions and gets out of the way, letting his guests speak 3. Ted covers where the sport is going, not just where it's been I listen to many cycling podcasts, but I keep coming back to King of the Ride.
-
andy haggertyI look forward to every pod dropThis is one of my favorite podcasts. Ted is the Terry Gross of cycling podcasts. I’m always trying to refresh my podcast library in hopes that I’ll have some fresh listening for my dog walk.
-
bumknee1Great content and presentationTed just gets better and better at connecting with cycling personalities while keeping it loose and entertaining. Look forward to when King of the Ride podcasts are released!
-
Petermann111Great podcastLove this podcast.
-
sean.allan.tThe King RulesLove Ted’s vibe and ability connect on a deeper level with some well known and not so well known cycling personalities. Inspiring. I’m definitely an admiring subject of the King.
-
khartnerSo good...Well produced, insightful - Ted has a skill for this that you wouldn’t necessarily expect from somebody who’s spent so much time alone on a bike. Giving a voice many people so deep in the world of cycling that 99% of people would never have had the chance to hear. Nicely done, Ted & Co.!
-
CodyOutsideI am not Ted KingBut if I was I would be sipping maple syrup like Will Ferrell in Elf while talking to the most interesting people in the cycling world. Cheers Ted!
-
Humberto_LeandroKeep it up!I love how Ted is direct to the point and the quality of his guests. Keep up the good work Ted. Is there’s any room for improvement I’d say: Bring more guests!
-
patskratchfeverJust add coffee for a great commute! This is truly the best thing to ever happen to my commute - love every episode I’ve heard so far, so subscribing was a no-brained.
-
RiseFightWinSolid podcast that just keeps getting better!Look forward to every episode!
-
MultiSurface AdventuresExcellent and Interesting - much more than just cyclingAbsolutely superb podcast. Ted King is an excellent interviewer who always finds interesting and diverse guests for the podcast. Topics go far beyond cycling, although all guests have some connection to the bike. Despite Ted’s apologies every episode, the audio quality is outstanding. This pod is also refreshing because the content is always clean and “Family friendly.”
