Azerath13997So Good! This has the right amount of horror for me. I have to take breaks and listen to something in between episodes because I just get so drawn into the story that I feel it and get scared in real life. The characters feel like real people with their real lives asked to do the near impossible that becomes o much more. I can’t wait to see how all the story lines get tied together and completed!

Sims128735Dustin dies?It’s k too short

regan8orShrugThe production values & voice acting are solid, but overall the storyline takes itself far too seriously without having the in-world logic to back it up. I will admit, I have a pet-peeve about science-heavy podcasts that don’t do their actual science homework - there are viable work arounds for this, but instead I felt asked again & again to suspend my disbelief in silly ways & it got old really fast. Especially in the face of over-the-top melodrama. I did finish all of season one but I’m not signing up for future seasons.

Ms naturalBravo!!!This podcast has me hooked. At first I was only listening to it at work. But now I am listening to it on my walks. At home while cleaning. I even cried when Dustin died. I don’t want this to end.

GoodPointeDeep, Engaging and EntertainingFrom the captivating score to the brilliant writing, acting and sound design, everything about Primordial Deep is pitch perfect. The narration draws you into the calm waters of the story… and before you know it you’re ears deep in terrifying ocean creatures. Primordial Deep feels like a lost Michael Crichton novel and I mean that in the best and most complimentary way possible. Terrific season, makes for a perfect weekend marathon listen.

amilla1234Not sure how I missed this oneI feel like I am in the know about every sci-fi podcast out there. I’m sad I am just discovering this. The acting is solid, the story line is great and all in all is just entertaining.

Anne Onimous IIThrilling exploration of myserious depthsI love the podcast about exploring the depths of an ocean where impossible creatures keep showing up.

Gatorn3ckLove this podcastWhat needs to happen so we can get episodes more frequently? The characters, the encounters, the immersion, and the acting are all leagues (pun intended) above other podcasts I’ve listened to in this genre. I’d usually have given up on similar shows by now, but I love this podcast. My only complaint is that I have to wait almost a month for new installments.

Summit FrankCharactersHoping for more of the badly written and acted characters to be killed off. They are interfering with a good story.

Ali HyltonThe story? Phenomenal. The characters? Wonderful. The sound design? Breathtaking. You NEED to check this show out. Very rarely do I find audio dramas with sound design as immersive as this one. It often feels like I'm there with the characters in the most terrifying ways. Mix that with the brilliant music? *Chef's kiss*. The characters all have such wonderful chemistry and their banter feels so genuine and fun. I would pay money to hang out with these nerds in their station. The story keeps you on your toes while also giving us some genuinely sweet moments between the characters. I may have cried a few times, not going to lie. This show is such a delight to listen to and it is absolutely one of my new favorites.

Richard KLA Thrilling Deep Sea AdventureFans of the animated Atlantis movie or shows like Firefly will be right at home with this slightly sci-fi expedition to the deep. The characters are fun and just ever so slightly larger than life, and the cast bring all the charisma necessary to make them sing. It's got adventure, marine biology, a hint or romance, and a helping of horror. Everything from the bottom up on this show is fantastically executed. The writing, sound design, voice acting, and editing are all top notch. Also a special nod to the theme music, which handily combines the spookiness of the X-Files theme with the pinch of the nautical and hints of a deep, dark secret hidden below the waves. Fans of Jordan Cobb's previous work will recognize nods to the shared universe with Janus Descending, but the show absolutely stands on its own, and they don't feel forced or intrusive.

NightingaleFliesCan’t get enoughI am addicted to this show already. It’s terrifying, suspenseful, and beautifully written. The plot is familiar yet new and refreshing, with characters you think you already know but still get to learn about. So excited for this show to continue and to see (or hear in this case) what Jordan Cobb creates next.

the AfancI’m hookedOnly a few episodes in and I am absolutely hooked. I am desperate for more content and I’m excited to see what happens next. The mechanic reminds me of Kaylee from firefly which is an obvious hit.

solaretHere Be Dragons was betterMaybe I hyped my expectations too much after the Indiegogo got funded, but this was such a disappointment. This setting - deep sea! ancient sea creatures! scientists! - is so exactly the kind of thing I love, but wow are the characters childish. The rousing feminist speech against a misogynist strawman? Ugh. Workplace misogyny is subtle and insidious. Why include sexual harassment at all if it’s going to be simplified down to such a level? And why on earth are two professionals of different ranks sleeping together? Character design doesn’t ring true. No matter how fun the setting, character cringiness kills it for me.

TIEPilot_DandyCan’t wait to go deeper. After a hype prologue and a phenomenal first episode I am absolutely hooked and ready to go.

Alpskier88PromisingThe prologue is a little rough around the edges but it gets better in episode 1. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes.

A. R. OLIVIERIContinued brillianceJordan Cobb doesn’t just create stories, but entire worlds with depth & terrifying accuracy, that allow you to explore yourself through the telling of them — oh, & they’re A LOT of fun, too !!! Primordial Deep not only keeps that tradition but, with the rest of the sound design & music team, I think they may have raised the bar again.

awheyaway!!!Having listened to the Prologue and Part One, I can honestly say I haven’t been this excited for more of a new audio drama in a long time. The characters are all distinct and delightful, the voice acting brings them to life in excellent fashion, and the editing/music ties it all together perfectly. Jordan Cobb’s narrative has already grabbed my attention (I love a good creature in my horror/thrillers, and the suspense here is QUITE good), and I just can’t say enough about Julia Schifini’s sound design (one of the most immersive shows I’ve ever heard, I can’t imagine how much work went into layering these environments and events). Cannot wait for the rest of the show, keep up the amazing production quality!
