Very well produced very well acted/narrated

I listened to the first four season. This is really the highest quality in production and acting/narration. It’s very good! The story is so far for me are kind of like content just to pass the time. I think some people would love these stories a lot more than I did and I think that I will probably love some of the stories in the series later.

most seasons good, 13 is terrible

I love most of these shows. I feel like Realm as a whole is a big black hole sucking up most of the podcasts produced and throwing them in one location. Many of these I listened to on their original feeds. I will say Season 13, The Understudy is probably the worst show this channel has ever posted. The amount of banality that each episode has is painful. It just goes on and on about superfluous details ad nauseam. It might be better or more interesting if the episodes were cut down to 20 mins but the amount of dry monologues the characters do while nearly nothing is happening is annoying. Had to quit. Hopefully the next season comes out quick; there are no thrills in this thriller.

Definitely Recommend

Season 1 was meh, but I decided to keep going as it has sooo many seasons lol 2 & 3 were great! 4 is meh so far. I’ll probably be updating this as I go. *Update* Finished season 4 & it picked up. Interesting story. Season 5 though was a no go for me.

I am only on the second episode, but what great acting and the sound effects are not overwhelming. I am really interested and it has been a while since I’ve listened to a show like this with anticipation. I’m driving and voice texting so please excuse any grammatical errors and punctuation

LOVE the stories. NIX the host

The host brings absolutely nothing to the table. And he’s pretty annoying. I know that’s mean. I’m sorry. But I even question if he actually listens to the stories beforehand before he records his commentary? Because sometimes (often) his contributions only make sense tangentially… if that. Please, either get rid of the host, or find a new person, someone who actually listens to the stories.

False Idols- A Rare Treat

Of course, I am a big fan of all the Adrenaline stories, but the suspense in False Idols required me to sit down and write a review. This story just gets better and better. The premise, setting, characters, casting, performances and production are all absolute top shelf. The best of it all is the suspense! I am very aware of how much I am on the edge of my seat at the end of the episode, eager for next week’s show. When I get the notification that a new episode has dropped, I drop whatever im doing to tune in! As a former avid and lifelong reader, a vision disability has made me turn to the podioverse. I’ve listened to literally thousands of shows. False Idols is right up there in the very top of my favorites. It’s doing so many things, just right! The mastery of countless subtleties is required to pull off a great show, and False Idols continues to prove itself as as such, for both enjoyment and enlightenment. Thank you for your sharing your outstanding creativity and for all of the challenging and brilliant effort!

This is a great show it’s like a sampler of Realm shows. Helps you find new shows if your looking. Also I like the narrator, you don’t get him if your listening to the show outside of adrenaline. He really adds something. Great job!

WARNING: Addictive!

Would recommend for anyone who loves listening to thriller podcasts! The story kept me on the edge of my seat! Perfect for the long drives I enjoy taking and listening to while I work for 12+ hours each day! Only just now finished the first season, but I absolutely love listening to this podcast! The host is absolutely hilarious in the way that he would do a fake out before starting a commercial, and I cannot believe people actually got mad about that. This show is hands down in my top 5 podcasts of all time!

A steady downhill climb

These series started out so good…and then the last two, maybe three seasons have been absolute GARBAGE. Terrible. Listen to the first three, give 4 a chance…when your ready to start season 5…punch yourself in the face, you will enjoy it more.

This is a GREAT podcast!!!

I don’t know why people are so hard on the host if you don’t like him fast forward. I think he’s great and does a great job setting up and summarizing the story after. He is a talented actor. Most stories start off slow they have to introduce you to the new characters. There are a a new set of characters every time which puts more work on the writers. I think the writers, production, and actors do a great job!!! Changing the dynamic of every season was something to adapt to but I like it.

The stories are interesting for the most part but the host is super annoying and not needed! I would have given this podcast 4 stars if they got rid of the host.

S2 - Really?

I enjoyed season 1. When I saw that S2 was out, I was very excited. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed. Why would you have Rory summarize S1 and call it S2? There is no new content here. Do you think that little of your audience? Realm you should know better. This is not your first podcast.

With an enjoyable if somewhat rehashed zombie storyline but the “host” that chimes in for a few minutes pre and post story… my god who ever came up with that needs to be fired

Abrupt season 1 ending

The story in season 1 ends incredibly abruptly, and unfortunately is incredibly dissatisfying as a result. This is disappointing because the nine episodes leading up to it are actually very entertaining.

Narration can make or break a podcast

I was interested in the premise of this podcast and interested to listen. And I don’t mind single narration formats. But this narrator’s voice, pacing, and inflection do not work for me. I had to quit halfway through the first episode.

Really intriguing!

I very much enjoyed this story and while it gives a predictable theory for the existence of the triangle, the way in which is does that is very enjoyable. I do wish however that there had been actual voice actors and not just one person. As great as his read was, the voices of the women became muddled and was hard to follow who was who at certain points. Worth the listen though!

I became a huge fan of SciFi 56 years ago at age ten. Listening to the audio versions of stories in a genre I love for me is so cool. This is a fantastic story. Very well written with a very plausible storyline. Great character development and voice acting. Thank you Realm for this podcast and I am excited to listen to other stories!

I couldn’t stop listening but…

I’m enjoying the story so far (on episode 7) but there are a few things that keep bothering me. It’s ridiculous that some factors that were obviously weird were not noticed and brought up and discussed by the group earlier (age discrepancies for instance). Also, production issues (at least 5 times there has been a repetition of a 15-20 second clip) disrupts the flow of the story.

Narrator is Awesome! He makes it!

It is very hard to be a single narrator and still bring multiple characters to life is there an urgent just that and impressively so. Need to escape true crime for a little while and settled on this. Very happy I did!

Amazing shows but I might have to unsubscribe.

Realm has introduced something new to it’s algorithms; As soon as you get halfway through the available episodes you get a pop up telling you to purchase their premium subscription. If you don’t, Realm won’t let you listen to the remaining episodes. I resent being tricked and manipulated. Unless they correct this soon I’ll unsubscribe from all of the Realm podcasts that I’ve been listening to.

This is not a fiction podcast, it is a glorified audiobook with stock dialogue, acting, and sound. The Bermuda Triangle deserves better than this.

Well, it’s long…but that’s about the only good thing

I really don’t like to be overly harsh but I’d recommend that you move on from this and try something else. I’ve enjoyed many Realm podcasts and found others to be quite unbearable. Unfortunately this one falls into the latter camp. The characters are so shallow and I’m not sure the author has ever actually heard humans dialogue with other humans. The speech is canned at best and the narrator’s accent attempts are borderline offensive. And the story is just…not that compelling? I listened to a lot more than I wanted to because it was playing during a long road trip and I wasn’t able to change it. I tried. It doesn’t get any better.

Another hit from Realm!

How did it take me so long to discover the Realm network!? This is by far one of my favorites they have done. I loved the story, the mystery, and enjoyed from episode 1. Fantastic actor with dynamic vocal range, great sound design, and such a fun story. I really enjoyed it. And have sent it to about five people.
