I’ve listened to every single episode. That’s dedicated. So believe me when I say I love your podcast, but DUDE. Enough RULE STORIES!!! Go back to your roots. Do the detective stories or cop stories and urban legends. That shizzz is FIRE

I like the podcast. But everything is a rule story now. Could use more diversity but enjoyable. I enjoy the rule shows just hope for more diversity. 5 stars

UPDATE: 12/29/23; This podcast continues to entertain with some of the best stories, and being a single cast member podcast the story teller is among the excellent readers, his voice inflections are excellent bar none, my absolute go to podcast, as many of the so called podcast fall behind and die! No sleep used to be great but have gone to easy no ending stories, because you don’t have to write anything good and just put out garbage IMHO! or the podcast that give you a great first season then become an orphan begging for money. This podcast on the other hand provides great stories, and they just keep coming, an excellent podcast to aid financially and motivated! One of the top if not the best podcast of 2023! UPDATE; 8/22/23: This fellow can really, really tell a story, I’m not into single reader/ story teller podcast, I’m a fan of full cast horror podcasts. This fellow and the stories are just phenomenal, and read/ told soooooooo well, I’m riveted to the podcast! Reader, has an excellent voice, clear modulation, make’s listening an enjoyable experience. Good spooky stories! Plus I love Lighthouses!

I think that these stories are not stories, but actual events that happened, because of how well they are told. I love the rule stories the most, and the ocean ones too. The voice acting is also phenomenal too.

I love everything about this podcast. The narrator is fantastic. His style isn’t reading, but its sharing an experience. I especially like the “Rules” stories. But what makes these horror stories most unique is that the main characters are victorious. I become involved with each one and I want them to win. Never a disappointment.

When I’m awake at 3 am and need a good story, I often turn to Lighthouse Horror. And if I have fully caught up, then I can go back and re-listen to stories from several years back. That’s an accomplishment, and a gift for us listeners!

Some are repetitive versions of others. The ones that stand out really are quite excellent. There is some pretty overt sexism that is really disappointing.

Love this dude, knows how to make a story come to life and does amazing voices.

I started listening during the pandemic & I’m soooo glad I did!! It really helps pass the time & I look forward to the new stories… so relaxing & his voice just makes it 900% better!!! Absolute perfection!!

You’re Storys and imagination are captivating….

Love this podcast I love the variations and stories. This podcast is a breath of fresh air amazing stories can’t get enough.. I definitely recommend.

Previously 5stars with engaging ideas, storylines, creepy places and monsters. You felt a real sense of dread that all of the newer content is lacking. Now: Used to be my 2nd favorite podcast because of the consistently long stories (50-over an hour) but recently it's changed to pushing out more content instead of focusing on the quality. Like taking a #2, you shouldn't have to push push push. But that's what it's transformed into and it's sad. The newer stories are too short to even remember. They begin and then abruptly end, and it's too jarring to be enjoyable— whereas before, was immersive and entertaining. For a listener to get the mood, a feel for the characters, care for the characters or world we're plopped into—is important. Arguably everything. And recently all we get is exposition info dump instead of staying in the story and figuring out some things ourselves. The newer content feels like it was made for an audience of idiots. This isn't a video platform where you gotta shove out all the info in a minute. Podcast listeners actually have attention spans and we want long stories to listen to while doing other things. Main recent downsides: •Too short to bother with anymore. •Extreme tonality shifts between short episodes —which wasn't as bad when they were longer and you had time to sit with everything before moving on. •Not memorable (again the lazy writing and shortness is a double whammy)

I stumbled on the you tube video stories while at work. Was a long one. Lol 3.5 hours. Let me just say.. I felt it was too short. I was hooked within the first 10 minutes. lol. Well thought out stories and some freaky twists along the way. I’ve moved to the podcasts for work. Lol YouTube at home. Keep up the good work

I discovered this podcast two days ago and I’ve been listening to episode after episode ever since. It’s superior to many of the weird/horror podcasts I’ve been listening to for years. No annoying introductions; he just dives into the stories. No advertisements. High quality writing and narration.

Chilling, as long as you don't mind a colonialist attitude and blatant racism, which as prevalent through some stories on this channel.

I found him on YouTube and was instantly hooked! Excited doesn’t explain how I feel when he uploads - obsessed is more like it!
