Guys, love the show and knowledge, but leave out your personal opinions that include things like saying America is almost fascist. Believe what you want, but stop the littler inserts of politics and jabs at those who don’t share your views

Always keeps me up to date on the goings on in Bundesliga and lower leagues. Often with topics I can’t find in online English media.

Great show! Always excited to listen to them. Especially their Aufstieg edition! Always great to hear about the often forgotten side where 2 teams come up every year. Love the show!

This is the best podcast with the least, hot takes, and most equitable distribution of coverage. Other bundesliga podcast are really just Bayern podcasts with 10 minutes or so devoted to the rest of the league and maybe an extra 5 for Leipzig and Dortmund. If you care about the league and/or want to learn more about it as a whole with special episodes dedicated to individual clubs, their histories and current states, this is the one for you.

Great analyses and free of any hot takes. BL must listen.

Great OG podcast about the Bundesliga. This and “The Schnitzel Boys” podcast are two of my favorite German soccer podcasts!

Have been consistently impressed the with Talking Fussball - it has quickly become one of my main sources of news, analysis, and commentary on the Bundesliga and German Soccer more broadly. Strongly recommend. I also recommend investing in the patreon - they’ve made a great push this fall to increase the content on that channel.

Always have great information and discussion, easy to listen to and enjoy it weekly. However, FC Bayern München ist mein verein, and I normally have to skip past most Bayern talk, especially this latest Der Klassiker discussion. Completely understand y’alls standpoint but the discussion typically has a bit of an “I want Bayern to fail” vibe instead of an “I want the rest of the league to match Bayern’s winning mentality” flavor. 4.5 out of 5 stars. Recommend for any BuLi fans.

The bundesliga content and overall topics covered are enjoyable. The political conversations take away from that. It’s called talking Fußball not talking *insert team or countries political stances”.

Like the hosts and guests. They always spend about half the episode talking about Bayern and Dortmund and tend to forget about the rest of the league. 5 stars if you only want to listen about those teams.

I have always loved the Bundesliga fan culture and this podcast does it justice. The one thing I would love, yes I know it’s a Bundesliga podcast, is maybe one episode a month or every two months about the 2. Bundesliga or the 3. Liga. But even without that still a five star podcast.

For a US football fan, this show is vital for staying up to date with the Bundesliga and for doing well in Bundesliga fantasy. The hosts are knowledgeable, humorous and enjoyable to listen to.

If you’re a Bundesliga fan than this is the one for you- My previous review. Here’s my revised review after about 12 episodes: If you’re a Dortmund or Bayern fan, than this is the podcast for you. I’m a huge Schalke fan. I find it head scratching that Dortmund gets as much podcast time as they do. Most of the other Bundesliga clubs don’t get much coverage as well. Here’s an example of a Schalke match review- “And Schalke got a 2-0 win over(insert any team here). And moving on to...” Bayern got their arse kicked yesterday. This pod will fall apart if Bayern keep losing! 🤣

I’m a huge Dortmund fan and live in Madison. I watch all the games. I too attended the hertha game in Madison and traveled to the Liverpool Dortmund game in south bend. Would definitely give the Dortmund report on the pod!

Been listening for two seasons now and it’s the best way to recap the matchday and stay up to date on league news. Would recommend to any Bundesliga fan!

Really the only comprehensive Bundesliga show. I’m not a fan of the fantasy episodes but that’s probably just cause I don’t play fantasy. But definitely worth a listen.

There isn’t a better Bundesliga show out there. They cover a variety of teams as the hosts are fans of less popular clubs like Hertha and somewhat fallen giants like Bremen. I’m not as fluent as I once was in German but it’s one of the better podcasts in either language.

One host talks like every word is straining to get out. Hate this millennial trait more than anything in audio. One host is great, but you can’t overcome this

Love this podcast and am also a proud patron. This is an absolute must-listen for my non-Dortmund Bundesliga fix (pair this with The Yellow Wall pod and I'm all caught up weekly). Special shout to Abel Meszaros who sprinkles in statistical and tactical gems often, always with great context.

Simply the best podcast for keeping on top of what's happening in the Bundesliga. Great analysis and breakdown of matches, teams, and players. Definitely one of my favorite soccer podcasts. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been listening for years now, and living in the U.S. and trying to get English reviews/recaps/opinions on the Bundesliga can be difficult at times, so this Podcast is definitely a godsend!! No better way to stay up to date on the ins and outs of the week that was!! Just wish they would go back to 2 podcasts a week ;-) Great job guys!!!

Professionally produced, insightful, snappy and always entertaining!

I've been listening for years to this podcast and it just keeps getting better. There are more podcasts about the Bundesliga being made now than what there were a few years ago, but this show still gives the best analyses mixed with some history and a bit of entertainment. Unlike other shows, the hosts on Talking Fussball also don't attempt to talk over each other in an attempt to prove who knows the most. I look forward to these episodes each week.

Indepth with plenty of expert analysis previewing and provideing coverage of every game. Aside from actual game coverage will get some cultural examination and history of teams, so a well rounded viewpoint for new comers to Bundesliga or long time fans.

With Bundesliga TV coverage in the US spotty at best Talking Fussball is must to stay current. Combined with the new Tribune podcast from some of the same guys and it feels like you're back in the Fatherland.

No one gives a more thorough look at the Bundesliga than these guys do. It is a must for anyone who enjoys German football!

Nobody else covers the Bundesliga with as much depth, knowledge, and humor as these guys do. They're a joy to listen to every week. My only wish was that they covered the 2. Bundesliga as well, and that they would keep the episodes to ~45 minutes in length. Otherwise, great podcast!

I'm passionate about german football, and woefully ignorant. The podcast is great helping me make sense and understanding what happens, week by week. And consistently well presented.

I wish I had one of these for all the leagues in Europe. Quality pod. Little bias.

This is the perfect podcast for anyone who follows the Bundesliga but doesn't speak fluent German. This is a must listen for any German fussball fan. I can only hope it continues to exceed my expectations week in and week out.

Great guests, great pundits, these guys do a remarkable job covering one of Europe's most underrated leagues.

Easily the best and most comprehensive review of the Bundesliga, the boys live it instead of reading or watching it from a distance. The crew brings a sense of what it is like at the ground and don't hesitate to give up rooting interests or venture off topic at times about hair or other humerous prejudices ha ha. Also have no problem talking about German National Team, Champions Leauge stuff, or formerly German. based players now residing in other leagues. Solid, knowledgable, and entertaining in every aspect!

For years I was starved for english language coverage of the bundesliga and these guys have met and exceeded any expectations I could ever have for english coverage. The cherry on top is these guys can correctly pronounce names and have in depth knowledge of team histories, rivalries and the lower divisions. I only wish they could produce an episode every day!

I've listened to just about every english speaking Bundesliga podcast there is and this one is by far the best. Great insight, analysis, and interesting specials highlighting aspect of German football not often covered by english speaking media. I love it.

This is a great podcast with a good general overview of the week to week happenings in German club football. It's very nice to have some quality English speaking content for Bundesliga. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be that sometimes one person will start talking normal and then fade into sort of a mumble that is difficult to hear. But it's not a big problem and I appreciate everything these guys do.

One of the better podcasts on the Bundesliga. Duffelen and Hartley do a good job covering the Bundesliga from top to bottom with good analysis of the matches and what to look forward to on the weekend. Occasional interviews are also featured featuring well informed followers of the Bundesliga and add to the podcast. Worth the download.
