I have always liked listening to Jimmy. I especially like his Mysterious World podcasts but I would even enjoy listening to him read the phone book (he would somehow make it interesting). Keep them coming!

I listen to a great many podcasts, but it’s this one I always come back to. On a weekly basis. Gives me a good reason to look forward to Fridays! Not into sensationalism, I always enjoy Jimmy’s crisp logic applied to the really “out there” stuff.

I heard that Jimmy Akin was "way up there" as apologetics go, but I never really understood why. After listening to a few of his podcasts, I really understand why. Jimmy Akin is truly one of the best apologetics. His understanding of the Catholic faith and ability to answer questions regarding her is quite frankly amazing. I would completely recommend this dude.

Jimmy Akin is a faithful Catholic, committed to following Church teaching and helping others do so. However, he manages to do this while also discussing creative and scientifically interesting topics such as colonizing other planets and artificial intelligence. My favorite podcast, hands down!

Anytime I need something explained about the Catholic Church and have a hard time understanding church documents, I look to Jimmy Akin. He is smart, funny, and generally seems like a cool dude. I highly recommend listening to this podcast weekly to grow in the Catholic faith. People of other faiths and communities should listen as well to understand the truth that the church teaches.

No one explains the important issues of the faith from every angle like Jimmy! Educational as well as entertaining. A real treasure.

This is a great podcast. I've been listening on my commute to/from work, and it made me feel like I was sitting in a San Diego coffee shop with Jimmy, having a casual conversation about a variety of Catholicism-related topics. I highly recommend it!

I listen to a lot of Catholic podcasts, but there is a gap when it comes to more in-depth theological and apologetic discussions. That is there was a gap and it has been now filled by Jimmy Akin the talented apologist for Catholic Answers. The podcast gives him more room to talk on various subjects and to answer questions more thoroughly than he has time to on the call in show. The first show was a nice kickoff, but the second show was more expanded and I hope it will prove to be the model for episodes to come. Jimmy's talent of explanation of advanced topics using anything from common examples to science fiction is what he is know for and that talent is evident here and he keeps the tone light-heared while imparting a good amount of information. Bravo.

I have followed Jimmy since I learned he lived in Arkansas once upon a time. He is clear concise and spot on.
