Balas has continued to communicate lies to his fanbade. I don’t understand how he continues to keep our hopes up with the scandal to only disappoint again and again

Who is worse?

Most of the staff provides good commentary and information. However, Balas is really hard to listen to. He pretends to have insider info, and always acts like a tough guy. Actually, a real punk.

This is a phrase you will hear at least once per episode. Podcast is fine but there are lots of better Michigan Podcasts.

Y’all might want to edit the last episode. You took a shot at one of your sponsors. I’d edit that out, just saying.

What happened to the Crawford podcasts?

So much for fair unbiased reporting from sports writers. These guys are all in bed with Michigan and are not capable of giving you info without spinning and lying to make MU look good.

What happened to the Borden/Crawford podcasts? I haven’t heard one in several weeks.

I overall enjoy the pods that the Wolverine puts out there. But Skene and Balas need to leave their political opinions out of their discussion. Skene’s rant on the 9/25 pod was ridiculous.

I’m really enjoying their post game show. Very honest and informative.

This sounds a little negative after our 11th win. Today OSU struggled, UT lost, Ole Miss lost, TCU had a last second field goal to win. It sounds like we are supposed to be ashamed we won.

When you have hosts like this, you are educated on what your eyes have seen already in the game; They don’t waste a second of airtime away from analyzing the game;

it would probably still sound more intelligent than these guys. Guys.

Podcasts are great and the Spaces chats have been wonderful to engage listeners. Always enjoy!

Tune in to hear the host tap on his keyboard during the entire episode while his guest is speaking. Great stuff.

Your audio has a crackling sound and you tel guests you can’t hear them when we are able to. Annoying especially with a condescending tone towards guests who’s audio is not the problem

Decent content, but this podcast has the worst sound quality of any podcast I listen to. It needs attention!

Good Podcast - not just slappy hacks. Skene’s great so is Van Bergen if his phone is fixed. Anthony Broome is really good get. Does a great wrap up show immediately following the games. Wolverine Fan in Columbus

These guys are writers for a pay site. On air is not a strength for most of them and some of the younger talent is really bad/amateurish on air. At times, production quality can be very poor reflecting this is not what they do well. Overall. they should stick to writing. Updated September 2021. Worse than basement quality production. Host volume 6. Guest 3. Commercial 9. Not able to listen without conatantly adjusting volume. Last podcast ended in middle of a guy speaking. Just not at all professional. Also, they speak different than they write. Balas always, “man” “but man” etc.

I generally like the in depth discussions of UM football but production of these has been poorer and poorer. Any discussion with Van Bergen is so low volume that you simply can’t hear half of what he says and when you can it’s muffled. Discussions with Skene also have been getting more staticky. What’s going on? Great discussions but if you can’t hear, what’s the point?

Usually excellent information. ALL of the shows need much better audio. Please STOP podcasting in the car. Brutal. And nobody wants dead air. while you thought the cops were pulling you over. Balas and Skene are frauds

…that blowhard, overly sensitive know-it-all Chris Balas. It’s gotten to a point I can’t even listen to ANY podcast or show that he’s even a PART OF. Other than that the rest of the guys are A+.

I don’t understand how Borton has not resolved the background noise issues. New year, same poor quality. Will be finding Michigan football news elsewhere, unsubscribed

Love the podcast, listen religiously. Giving 5 stars but JB you need to learn the mute button man. I have heard several people stop listening (and i’m not far away) because of the constant coughing and throat clearing on the air. This happens on every podcast, but 95% can be eliminated with the mute button. Balas, teach your boy how to mute! Getting ridiculous…

Not crazy about the audio, but worth dealing with, the information is top notch. Love hearing about Michigan from people who love Michigan. There is no sugar coating going on here, but the love for Michigan gives us optimism for the future. GO BLUE.

No bias unlike other podcast

Balas and Skene are the best. They are all good. John Borton farts and makes snorting sounds and other weird noises at times. Mute the mic John. But great content. Big MI fan here. Go Blue

Would be decent content if host John Borton wasn’t coughing and sniffling the entire episode. And this week he added blowing his nose while his guest Fithian was speaking. Gotta have some self awareness - either mute your mic or learn how to edit.

Great content and contributors. Have been reading the online version for almost two decades. But, the audio in the podcasts are a continuous, cringe-worthy problem. Listening to a 5/14 episode with Balas, one persons audio was like a megaphone - the other a whisper. I shouldn’t have to constantly adjust the volume. 5 star content with 3 star delivery.

And just always negative. Skene, Crawford, ugh. Balas and Skene can be funny but the negativity is just terrible. And you get the impression Crawford is happier complaining of MSU wins than if UM does.

There are a bunch of University of Michigan recruiting podcasts out there, but this ine is definitely the best. The host (Hole) is very very qualified and knowledgeable about the ins and outs of Michigan recruiting. All in All this is an extremely Plugged In podcast! A++!!

If you are looking for insider information on Michigan sports this is the podcast to go to! There are lot podcasts out there that regurgitate information that you find in other places (many steal info from the Wolverine). But nothing compares to real quality journalism and not clickbait hot takes. Nothing compares and another awesome content on top of a very rich subscription. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Love the insight that Doug Skene provides. Balas needs to slow down on the tough guy act. Why does it always sound like Borton is taking a hit of weed and/or clanging his cereal spoon in his bowl?!

Audio is terrible.

Listening to Balas and Skene offers unique insight and critical analysis unavailable on other fan sites. Love hearing them discuss football, coaching, and scheme. On the contrary, I listened to a couple of their other hosts try to analyze a similar topic, and it was like I was eavesdropping on two 13 year old Michigan fans. They were talking about possible defensive coordinator hires and it was just a pure waste of time to even listen. So it’s a great podcast, but not for every episode.
