I listen to this podcast on repeat all the time. I love listening to people tell their own stories and with sound effects added it’s like I’m in their mind. Love this podcast and i recommend it to everyone.

The stories are awesome but the amount of ads (I know you gotta pay bills) and the dumb spiels from Terry killlllll me

Just ok. Used to be really good. Lots of open ended stuff about terry. Dark air was good until they lost interest in doing that. He’s in a void, then no mention of a void for 4 episodes or more. Just kinda random, “oh we have to puke up an episode again” content. Stories aren’t really creepy. Just basically decent stories about being afraid or whatever. Kinda meh

I LOVE THIS SHOW. LOVE Terry, Malachi, the stories, look forward to Friday every week. The last season was okay, really miss the “Radio Rental” dialogue and sub-plots. Excited as always for the next season❤️

I enjoy this show, but I feel like the listener stories are shrinking and the Terry content is growing. I preferred the earlier version of the show. Also, it goes on hiatus all the time without warning and you never know when it’s coming back.

Avid listener here. But I miss the original style of the episode stories. They were otherworldly, odd, and interesting. Now they’re more like true crime stories from the 1st person pov. It doesn’t feel lighthearted anymore.

I love the side stories of Terry and his cat 😂 really entertaining. The actual stories and chilling and attention getting. I like that they are narrated by the actual person the incident happened to. I can’t stop listening !

I love this podcast! The first few seasons are kinda drawn out, repetitive. I find myself barrel-rolling my hands in a “spit it out!” motion, but not it a edge of my seat sort of way. More of a “she’s literally already said this” sort of way. The newer seasons are gold though!

This show used to be the best. Super good stories of the unexplained. It’s definitely turned into more of a close call podcast and it’s not the same. Wish they’d bring back the old type of stories.

The stories are very good, riveting and enjoyable. I skip the narration, though, it’s just not that interesting.

I have seriously loved this podcast for a very long time, but about two seasons ago the already short podcast episodes started being FILLED with ads. There’s a minute of ads before the show starts, Terry plugs the ad-free version, and then the episode starts. It’s ads, walking into the shop and a story, another ad break, a story, another ad, Terry saying goodbye, and then more ads. Even though you can skip through and not listen to the ads at the end, my hands are busy. That’s why I’m listening to a podcast, plus I don’t want to have to skip forward every 8ish minutes during a podcast episode less than a half hour long. I know that they want you to subscribe to the ad-free version, but this is one of two tenderfoot podcasts I listen to and, because of the ads, I don’t enjoy it very much anymore, so why in the world would I pay to listen? Without the ads, I’m sure the episodes are only 15 minutes anyway. Rattled and Shook has just as many ad breaks, but the episodes are closer to an hour so it’s not as overbearing. As it is now, Radio Rental is annoying to deal with so I don’t listen as much, which is a shame because the podcast itself is very good.

With peace and love the narration adds nothing. It’s not clever, it’s not funny.

Radio Rental used to be a favorite of mine; however, this show has been on a steady decline for some time. Terry Carnation’s ramblings are annoying at best, and the stories are diet versions of seasons past. So much potential, yet sadly falls short anymore.

Unfortunately I haven’t quite listen to it but I will be listening to it right now yeah

This is hands down my absolute favorite podcast, although I do skip the intro part to the stories (sorry, Rainn). The stories are gripping and well told! My only complaint is that they aren’t longer because I could literally listen to these all day! Please keep ‘em coming!

All this show is now is situations with potential predators. Season 1 was great and it’s been downhill from there. Storytelling is long-winded and everything is the same and nothing happens.

Doesn’t add anything to the show at all. Just means I have to hit the “fast forward 30 seconds” button several times to get past his nonsense. Keep it short, Dwight. The stories are the real draw here.

But now every story is incredibly boring. It’s a shame. I’m surprised Rainn Wilson wants his name associated with it anymore.

I don’t mind a mix but it’s been only let’s not meet type of stories lately.

I know it’s a horror story podcast but it has genuinely helped me get through some hard times. Whenever Im down or stressed I put on radio rental and it’s almost comforting in a way. Love you Terry and Malakai 💗

Too much Terry and he’s not even reacting to the actual stories. Just cut it out. If Tenderfoot TV came with no adds AND no Terry Carnation I’d be about it. He was good in season 1 but I just skip through everything he says now

The second episode in 74 was insanely dumb. I kept waiting for something else to happen to corroborate her concerns but it never came. And then to claim her and her friends life were at risk and they were almost murdered is complete embellishment. Unless something else happened that wasn’t communicated in the show, there were hundreds of possible scenarios in which they weren’t in danger at all.

This is my second rating for this podcast. The first season was mind blowing- so good. It’s gotten weaker since then and I understand there are only so many stories out there. Now you want us to subscribe to Tenderfoot for a weekly 16 min show. It’s not worth it RR. Terry Carnation and Malikai (sp) I still love you. Please do better? Rhonda

I rarely write reviews but this show has gotten so terrible that I had to leave one in the hopes that they will get the message of mine along with many others I have read and return to form. Show started off excellent in the first seasons with truly creepy and unique stories. Now EVERY story is the same. Someone ends up in an uncomfortable scenario and convinces themselves in their head that they are in danger and - shocker - NOTHING ever ends up happening. They are essentially the same story formulas in different settings/circumstances, many of them not believable to begin with. Rock bottom was the story where the guy THINKS he was ALMOST attacked by a shark. Get it together or just cancel the show altogether if you can’t find or come up with interesting content. I think most people are like myself at this point and are only continuing to listen on the hopes that it will return to what it once was

Love this podcast!!!! Got full chills from many of these and stayed entertained throughout. Love this! Love Terry and Payne! Edit to add that the show is still amazing. I never miss an episode!! Keep up the great work

Currently have the monthly subscription to Tenderfoot+ simply for this podcast. Came on today to listen to the new episode and it’s saying I need to subscribe. I think maybe my subscription didn’t renew, so I check, it shows my subscription is good until it renews December 5th. Try listening to the new episode again. Says same thing, that I need a subscription. So I try to upgrade to the yearly. Says it’ll upgrade after my monthly ends December 5th. STILL says I need a subscription when I try to play, EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION.

Radio rental has devolved into “the hypothetical situation I created in my mind was horrible!, but absolutely nothing DID, in fact, happen”. Sounds like a lot of overly sheltered early 20s kids. 330 million Americans and you can’t find ONE that has an actual creepy story? Go back to the drawing board, earlier seasons rocked. I love Terry always thou!

Look, nothing will ever top Season 1 with the woman posing as a girl in the woods. But, these stories can be spooky, disturbing and uncanny. PS- mocking the complainers for the 2 stories on Reddit. CLASSIC!!

The stories are spooky. Terry Carnation is a world class presenter. “Shut your pie-hole, Annabelle” is my current favorite phrase. Listen if you like all things weird and spooky.

This show is 80% ads, no exaggeration. What used to be a supernatural podcast is now true crime or something that turns out to be a misunderstanding. Sound effects and background music are too loud and poorly executed.

This is it. This is the thing.

I listen to one of the newer episodes…. That got me hooked and now I am currently powering through start til finish!

Radio Rental started off strong with its earlier seasons. This season hasn’t raised any spine-tingling sensations. A lot of the stories aren’t that scary. Please go back to the essence of Radio Rental. Rattled and Shooked has been winning in this department.

Love this show it’s so creepy and knowing it’s all true stories yikes, love the soundtrack also I hope this show lasts for a few more seasons

I used to love this show and looked forward to Terry Carnation and his creepy stories each week. But lately a majority of the stories are just vulnerable women being threatened or attacked by men. I’m echoing another review that if you can’t find interesting, spooky stories like the ones from the first seasons it’s ok to end it.

I found this podcast a bit later, but I am SO GLAD that I did. It is my favorite ever! Terry Carnation is the best character, the 80s/90s retro vibe is the coolest, and the stories are a great mashup of supernatural and just plain scary real life monsters. MORE PLEASE! Rainn is a genius.
