The audio is on par with a triple A video game title, as are the voice performances by the cast. I could tell everyone apart so easy. Each race and culture has its own accent and its own region you can compare it to (like the Greek Elves or the German Orcs). The music at first I thought was stock (great stock mind you), but the themes develop like the music on Game of thrones. The story isn't always big or spectacular, its kind of small scale at least where I am (chapter 8). There's sirens, zombies, bandits, sorcerers (called sorSEERs), a reverse Legolas and Gimli pair with the Dwarf and Elf, its a pretty fun time and I just wish it released more. Do yourselves a favor and listen!

It is really a short audio book but… it is well done and fun to listen to.

Do get the extended episodes via patreon! They make the story even more compelling. I thought it was good before but with the extra content the story becomes truly epic. This is a great series and I hope it continues on for many seasons to come. Thank you for making it!

First things first. Perfect listening for all ages. I’ve listened to this podcast with my family around and they don’t seem to mind. If anything, all ages of my family seem to enjoy the story, so it’s a perfect show to listen to anywhere you go. Secondly, it’s mindful of all genders, sexuality’s, race, and religions. There’s a little bit of everything in there so it appeals to a wide range of audiences. Finally, the wait between episodes is well worth it’s time! If these episodes came out any sooner, I’d be afraid they weren’t at the same expert quality. And it’s okay to go back and listen. If anything I’d recommend it. The show has a lot of hidden Things that you won’t notice unless you go back. Personally this kind of show is the bread and butter of the audio world. I enjoy it and can’t wait to hear more!!

Great writing and actors. Certainly a joy to listen and get lost in the story.

There are tracts of episodes that are simply noise - usually fighting. During these moments, I find myself confused as to what happened to who - no matter how many times I rewind. A little narration or context when appropriate would be helpful.

It was in my feed for a while and I thought it was going to be miss, but I decided to give it another try while I put together my kids’ birthday present and I’m glad I did. Wonderfully done. Every minute is used to move the story. The twists and turns are great and I can’t wait for chapter 10.

The sound design is engrossing, and the actors put a lot of effort into their performance. While the story may seem safe at first, it starts going places and introducing you to people that will stick around with you.

Just finished the episodes available & must say I really love what the people have done here. The world & characters that have been created are great & I can’t wait to hear more soon! Keep up the great work!

No, really, jaw-dropping. Listened to part 1 on a walk, and spent half the time with my mouth wide open. Stunningly beautiful music, genuine performances, and impeccably immersive sound design all around. Round of applause for everyone involved. Recommend for anyone who enjoys fantastic storytelling, but especially for those high-fantasy, Tolkien, & D&D nerds like myself.
