I started taking an interest in Croatian from Soccer player Will John, listening to him speak Croatian. I wanted to learn it and I came across this great resource. Before this I knew very little about Croatia and the people and I didn’t even know Croatian was a language. I just assumed that everyone there spoke Russian. Not only did this give me great insight into the language, but it has shown me the unique culture of Croatians and fired up my desire to go to Zagreb. Thank you for your great work guys and I will continue to support it!

This podcast makes learning Croatian easy and fun!! At 10 episodes I could already hold a conversation and at 31 episodes I feel almost fluent! :) You guys are amazing!!

I have been learning this language and its friends since 2018 and there are not a ton of resources out there, but this one is solid. A lot of it is review for me, but I still listen because I am always learning a new word or cultural fact. I hope this show continues for a long time. Hvala puno!

I’ve always been the nice guy worrying about other people a lot more then myself. Ever since I startled listening to this 1 month ago I’ve changed a lot. Every girl I think is beautiful I go up and talk to her. I have been turned down but it was all bc they had boy friends or husbands 😂, but the rest said yes when I asked for their numbers. I’ve also not missed a day of working out for this month no matter what I’m doing or where I’m at. I was the feel fear now because I know at the end of the day I can use that fear. I think it’s been said in the comments before. However, Croatian really does seem to be a language that we don’t have many educational resources for. You guys have awesome personality and are making learning this language fun and lighthearted. This will be my first new language and I’m excited to continue to listen to your podcast! I am loving this podcast! My father is from Croatia (Zmijavci, just south of Imotski) and my mother and father both speak Hrvatski, but never taught me. I am now 37, grew up in the States (Midwest and still live there, Hooker, Oklahoma to be exact) have been to Hrvatska three times, and have had a growing desire to know the language. I have many family members who still live in Croatia and I always feel as though a portion of my heart lives and belongs in Croatia. This podcast allows me to connect with my heritage and is teaching me Hrvatski along the way. Thank you all so much for creating such an amazing Podcast! Every episode has been great! XOXOXO
