I’ve been listening for a while. I missed a few episodes and finally caught up. I have my favorites that I go back and listen to. I love the way Chris tells the story, I love the side comments, the rants, the banter with Meg. The list is endless. Keep doing what you’re doing. You’ve got a loyal listener here. I also love that I can enjoy the show with my 11 year old daughter. She gets upset if I listen to new episodes without her. Happy new year! Excited to see/hear the new content in 2025!!!

You have amazing content, you’re a great storyteller, but I can’t handle the episodes with your wife. It’s nothing personal to her, but she takes away from the show. If you want to succeed, I recommend continuing to fly solo.

You should research and get some help to properly pronounce Hawaiian place names and language. It is disrespectful of the culture and spirit of Hawaii to mispronounce the language as you do.

I listen to your show because the format is different from a lot of others. I went back to the beginning and listened to all after I found it about a year ago.

I have been a paranormal investigator for over forty years and I usaully don’t follow to much of anything in para field. Until, I found your show! You keep everything REAL and DOWN TO EARTH! I really enjoyed this podcast until you brought in your wife. I don’t think she adds anything. You were so entertaining and she interrupts your flow. I can’t listen if she’s on.

Tried this for 2 episodes and appalled at what sounds like merely regurgitating whatever they read on Wikipedia or Google, not to mention the extra rambling nonsensical banter, without any critical thought applied. Look to other better supernatural podcasts with more informed hosts. Mysterious Universe, Lore and Expanded Perspectives all come to mind as examples of what this podcast struggles to achieve.

I unfollowed this show. The husband is awful. The woman should podcast solo.

Great podcast overall. Easy to get into the episodes, to which I also find relaxing. I enjoyed the shows previous style, and have really enjoyed the new platform as well. Y’all do a great job presenting the stories and history, keep up the good work!

I am loving this podcast and I just started listening to it. I really enjoy Chris’s voice and his infectious humor. He knows how to tell an intriguing and interesting story, without having an ego and he makes you eager to hear more. Keep up the amazing stories.

I was browsing for a new podcast to check out and stumbled on this one. I downloaded the entire show to date as I’m often without phone service for hours at my job. Started at episode one and I’ve been binge listening since then! I’m hooked! An amazing story teller. Can’t wait to see how the show progresses. I’ve only made it thru episode 3 of the Zachary Bain story but this is an incredible story and I firmly believe this needs to be a book!

I enjoy many paranormal podcasts but this is my favorite. Feinstein listens to his fans and tries to give everyone what they want from the show. He doesn’t need to change a thing, he does a great job with the show, his narrations, explanations and personality adds to each show. Don’t change a thing. Love the show.

Just stumbled across this podcast and I love it! It’s so easy to listen to and I’ve been binging it the past few days. I really appreciate the effort and energy he puts in to his stories and I love how he says his inward running dialogue out loud.

This podcast is at top of my list for my “Top five favorites” favorite podcasts. I can’t wait for each episode to come out, and at the end of every episode I am disappointed that it’s over. Chris, I’d rather have the real Chris who stumbles and trips over his words. Scripts aren’t as satisfying as the rambling. I’d like to hear your opinion on you research and adventures than the edited out “oops.” I laugh at your “Really, Chris. Come on. Just read what’s in front of you.” We went camping this week and I was listening to some of the past episodes and as one of the creatures reached out for the boy a BUG landed on me and I nearly came out of my skin. I don’t normally mind bugs, but the timing after I had realized how I had reacted sent me into a fit of laughter. My husband and kids thought I’d lost my mind until I was able to stop laughing and tell them why I reacted like that and laughed so hard. Keep up the hard work and keep the scares coming.

I truly enjoy this podcast! I stumbled upon it early on in its beginning and I can’t stop binging it. Chris’s voice and how he narrates makes it very easy to listen to. I love the stories and even the chatter, which I usually can’t stand and will stop listening to a podcast over it but I seem to like his for some reason. I find it soothing. I can’t wait to keep listening and experience the podcast evolve. Keep it up Chris, you’re doing amazing!

Good story telling and interesting content.

The host is easy to listen to and he usually has good content. But after about 20 or more episodes the background music he plays for every single episode will become unbearable. It’s so distinct and repetitive. Please incorporate a few more tracks.

Love hearing the states and the history for each state, can’t wait to hear the rest of them. Keep up the great work.

I don’t have a problem with Chris free wheeling his speech and not reading from script, but he tends to get off topic or beat some topics to death to the point where you want to tell him just to move on. I find his subjects very interesting and I like the ones that have to do with places in the US.

I love listening to Chris’s podcast! He is a great writer which is evident by the content he shares along with his original stories. You can tell he really cares about staying true to who he is and his values, being upfront, honest and making sure the work he produces stays high quality even if that means it takes more time between episodes. I wish him the best of luck, and now that I’m caught up and can’t binge episodes anymore, I’m eagerly awaiting his next entertaining release! This is the third podcast I have found that I absolutely love! You have such an amazing imagination! I honestly would watch the Zachary Bane story if you put it into a movie or television series!!!

This podcast is the amazing combination of urban legends, paranormal, and amazing story telling. I love how Christopher researches and explores a myth or paranormal legend or a stories from historical headlines. He follows the researched portion with a fictional story that he has written & reads himself. He’s great at drawing you into his stories and the endings are always an unexpected twist. Found this podcast on a whim and now I’m binging it!

Always interesting story’s and the host is great at telling them I love his funny one liners he throws in.

I am more of a audio drama fan and I don’t normally go for shows that are hosted but Chris does an amazing job with this show! He is personable and you can tell this content is his passion. If you like haunted history look no further!!

I really enjoy the way he narrates his stories without a lot of filler talk/banter with a co-host. I like his way of telling stories and feel like he really does his research and I think how he laughs at himself from time to time if he messes up or thinks something is funny and makes him relatable. Thanks!

I usually listen to true crime, but this podcast is an easier to swallow listen. I love the way Chris intertwines facts with each story. I am also one that enjoys him peppering in chapters of his personal book about Zachary Bane. Another thing I enjoy is the down to earth, self aware method of telling the stories. Chris’ mispronunciations, and not cutting out the little parts where he can laugh at himself makes it so human. I personally prefer it to be more raw and not robotic. I never thought I would like different voices between characters but it’s a nice little touch that he delivers too. The fireside tales with Chris and his wife Meghan are a great listen too. It feels like you’re right there with your friends.

Love listening to the show. Usually listen to it while driving around for work and it always helps the time pass. Can’t wait to hear about my state (Wyoming). Looking forward to it!!
